[0.45 lb] This lens is the equivalent of having a set of CP.2 primes in the form factor of a zoom. There's zero focus breathing, beautiful bokeh, beautiful micro contrast. We just used this lens on an Fs7ii for a feature narrative film, and people have been commenting on how great it looks. I thought I would explain why: it's this lens. The focus is smooth, and we kept it mostly at an T4.5 except for a few scenes. You'll definitely want a focus puller if you're wide at 2.9. It's advertised at being a T2.9-3.9, but none of us could tell the difference really. It looked great at all ends of the zoom range. There was no discernible difference in sharpness wide or telephoto (like most zoom lenses out there). Just know that it's very large, and will weigh down your camera. In theory it would work for doc work, but would be a lot to carry, and would probably be intimidating toward subjects. For narrative work on a budget, I can't recommend it enough. it's better contrast, sharpness and focus breathing than the Fujinon MK series, and leaps and bounds better than any photo zoom lens. I can't recommend this enough. 5

[0.45 lb] In brief, excellent lens. Lightweight, cheap, discreet, small, great 4 stops IS, and it does what is meant for. It does have optical distortion, but after editing in CameraRAW you finally get what you paid for: 15mm-30mm focal distance with distortion-free photographs. Highly recommended if you do not want to waist money in things you will not use. 5

[0.45 lb] In moving from Canon EF to RF, I've added a few RF lenses. I have passed my EF equipment--mostly--to a friend who is starting out in photography. This replaced my beloved Sigma 17-35mm and I am astounded by this Canon lens. The price is a steal for the sharpness this lens provides. Optically, it punches much higher than its affordable price would suggest. It's wonderful to shoot with and I use it a lot. 5

[0.45 lb] I love this wide angle lens. You can spend much more and get the professional level lens, but for everyday use, I would recommend this lens to anyone. It is reasonably priced and light weight. I take it everywhere. I visit a lot of museums, and the nice thing about this lens is that even when there are many people standing around an exhibit, I can get up close and get the whole exhibit in the picture without the people in view. It makes it look like there was no one there but me. Love it. 5

[ARRI PL Mount] I truly love these binoculars but I highly recommend getting a tripod support because you see so far it wiggles when you're viewing what you're viewing. I'd love these binoculars for star and moon gazing 5
