[Sony E] This little hood snaps snugly and quickly into place on both the 24/1.8 and the 55/1.8. It's attractive, effective, and you never have to flip it around. I love its reduced profile compared to a standard hood, which often has to be removed or flipped around. You can just leave this one on full-time. Much easier.


Most importantly, it creates a stable platform. I often swap lenses at family gatherings, and it's very convenient to confidently set your lens down on its hood. There's little to no risk of it tipping or rolling away. My cats have tried to knock it over to no avail. Phew!


This is the finest looking and performing hood I've ever seen. I hope they come out with this style for more lenses! (16-70 f4, please).

[Sony E] I truly love these binoculars but I highly recommend getting a tripod support because you see so far it wiggles when you're viewing what you're viewing. I'd love these binoculars for star and moon gazing

[Sony E] Extremely lightweight and completely another type of beast if comparing with either Nikon or Canon plastic lenses. Interchangeable mount makes it a really cool lens for many situations. In PL version, you can also add a 2x Extender and get a 140-400mm with still a extremely good quality and very useful for wildlife as well as other appplications. Mount is very solid and weight helps to move quickly as well. Wether you want to shoot a film, a comercial, a concert or music video, having this lens will open you to a whole new world of possibilities due to its characteristics. The quality of this lens surpassed my expectations honestly but since it is not a rehoused still lens, but a whole new cinema lens design it makes sense. Many grumpy cinematographers would still say this is neither a DSLR lens nor a High End cinema lens, but I can tell you this lens is up to compete with bigger and more expensive lenses anytime for a much lower price, which still is not low but worth each penny.

[Sony E] In brief, excellent lens. Lightweight, cheap, discreet, small, great 4 stops IS, and it does what is meant for.
It does have optical distortion, but after editing in CameraRAW you finally get what you paid for: 15mm-30mm focal distance with distortion-free photographs.
Highly recommended if you do not want to waist money in things you will not use.

[Sony E] I have had Acebil zoom controllers for my multiple Sony AX-100 4K prosumer video cameras. Initially you had to use an adapter cable to go from the supplied 2.5mm to Sony AV connector, then the Sony AV to Sony Multi-Terminal. After several years, these cables started shorting out. I looked EVERYWHERE for things...but even the Acebil websites (USA and other countries) provided no clue, and if you did a search it came up Coming Soon! and promises of a new website. I didn't want to have to throw out 5 perfectly good Acebil controllers because I couldn't find a simple cable!!! And other cables I found simply didn't work at all.


I finally found these--but I HAD to type in Acebil 2.5mm Lanc to Sony Multi-Terminal (those words precisely) before I found these on the B&H website. HOORAY! I feared they were no longer available, but they were in stock!! So I ordered 6--I wasn't going to be caught flat-footed again if a cable suddenly decided to go pffttt in the middle of a shoot! And to my delight, all 6 worked PERFECTLY--my Acebil now is fully functional with zoom control as well as the record/stop button. I'm SO HAPPY! I truly despaired of ever finding anything. So these work perfectly with the AX-100. They do NOT work with the smaller Sony cameras, i.e. the AX-53 or AX-55. For reasons known only to Sony, these cameras require the use of a Sony zoom controller which, in my humble opinion, are far inferior to the Acebil in terms of zoom sensitivity and quality of construction. I don't know if it will work with the newer AX-700 (basically the same camera but with HDR video recording.


But for the AX-100 it's PERFECT!
