[0.25 lb] AJA products are very reliable. I am glad they updated the firewire800 for usb 3 so our video team can download right away the content of the HDD to their computers and back up units. I wish the HDD came with usb cable. 5

[2' / 61 cm] I purchased Kipro in Dec. 2009 and later on felt my requirement of larger storage drives than the one came with Kipro; I opted for this storage module because I am under budget; the solid state media is beyond my budget; I am pleased for BH Photovideo's competitive price for this module. Fantastic product and I highly reccomend this if you want larger back up storage for your Kipro and at the same time, you are budget conscious. 5

[1 x D-Tap] Bought this device to replace my other AJA hardrive that stopped working only to realize that after buying it I didn't really need it. I didn't need it because I then called AJA's tech support and they bent over backwards to send me a BRAND NEW one and went ahead and replaced the other one I had due to some problems they'd been having with the older models. AJA has the BEST Customer Service ever and I will be buying more of their products. By the way I kept this drive as a backup. 5
