[0.3 lb] Bought these rods and i love that they are smooth coated, lightweight and don't scratch. Not much more to say except these would be rods of choice should i need to buy more.

[0.3 lb] I bought this as a low profile option for my gh4 kit, it’s a great baseplate that I’ll probably own till the end of time. Great cheap alternative to some of the more expensive baseplates

[0.3 lb] I am a pro shooter who has a great shoulder stabilizing system and needed some high enough to go above my DSLR (5D) to hold the whole system very low and close to the floor while shooting. In the beginning I though that this unit is not strong enough because of the weight but it is.

[0.3 lb] The handgrip and plate work very well in helping to stabilize footage using both my Canon 7d and Canon Hv30. Using this with the Cavision viewfinder I have a excellent alternative to high priced competing products.

[0.3 lb] I use this on my Canon HF G10 video camera. It has proven itself to be very usable to stabilize video shoots with it. The size lends itself to be very controllable without the use of counter weights of other systems. Certainly the counter weight systems are useful in many if not all situations however if those systems are too cumbersome or restrictive then this is one to use. The Canon HF G10 uses a flash drive so it is not a heavy camera making it easy for this grip to handle. The single hand-grip is made of sturdy molded plastic and the attachment and pivot points are well made with a mix of chrome plated high tensile steel and high carbon steel where they count. This type of hand grip is very hard to come by as a lot of available hand grips are either part of a counter weight system or mounting system for lights, microphones, etc. In summary this is a well made, high quality single purpose accessory that deserves support from the motion and still photography community. It is easy to use and its cost is very reasonable in considering its quality. I am a firm believer in the saying that you pay for what you get. The only thing wrong about this item is that it is not always available for immediate purchase. A possible testament to its popularity? Perhaps.

[0.3 lb] I don't have much experience with 15mm rods, but these really do the trick. They are very rigid and light. And the price is difficult to beat. Some rods come with an ability to link sets together. These do not have threads or any way to extend to a second set. Not necessarily a negative, just something to note. The description as it is right now does not state if this item is a set. I can confirm yes you get two identical rods about 10 long.
