Fotodiox Pro 100mm Filter Holder For Cokin Z-pro Series

  • Availability: In Stock

$104.85 $165.66

The Pro 100mm Filter Holder from Fotodiox is made for filters that are 100mm wide such as the Fotodiox Pro 100x133mm filters and the Cokin X-Pro (L) Series filters. It can hold standard 1.6-2.0mm thick filters and can be adjusted to hold 4mm thick filters as well.

The holder is large enough that it won't vignette on most lenses longer than 20mm (in 35mm format). When shooting with lenses wider than 20mm, the holder can be reversed, so that the filter goes where the adapter ring normally goes and vice versa. This keeps the filter holders out of view of the lens.

This holder requires the use of an adapter ring to mount it to your lens, which must be purchased separately.

[0.2 lb] Very pleased with this filter holder, the 4x6 filters work just fine. I use this for traditional film 4x5 lens with the adapter taking it down to 52mm with no problems at all. Also the 77mm adapter allows me to use the filter holder for digital DSLR shooting without having to hold the filter in front of the lens. I agree that the live view with the filter works great and makes post production easier getting it right in the field. I have used Cokin products for years and have always enjoyed the quality and creative filters they have offered. I would recommend this product to many folks.

[0.2 lb] Fits and allows you to work with another adapter to fit smaller filters as well.

[0.2 lb] It is a well made robust filter holder. I use them to mount my Lee 4*4 and 4*6 filters. Once mounted it doesn't accidently pop off when you don't expect it too. It can be reversed to mount a single filter to very wide lenses

[0.2 lb] Great product, very well built. Anyone looking for a wide shot, this is it. I use it with 16-35mm lens, it works perfectly, no vignetting.

[0.2 lb] I wish it could held three filters instead of two, as this would allow me to stack additional ND filters for extra-long exposures. Aside from that minor complaint, the product is excellent. It holds the filters very securely without being too terribly tight. However, I did have some instances in which my front tilt was accidentally moved when trying to insert a filter due to how tightly it held them. But I'd rather it hold them tightly than not tight enough. Removing the CP filter can be a bit tricky.

[0.2 lb] Holds my 4x6 filters perfectly. Just enough friction so they don't fall out, but smooth enough to allow for small adjusments to be made easily (graduated neutral density, for instance). It does take a little while to install along with the adapter ring, so not ideal for spur-of-the-moment shots, and once installed it is of course somewhat bulky so stowing in a photo bag can be an issue. Still, I love using it.

[0.2 lb] An excellent value for the money; inexpensive, can be used with 2mm thick/4mm thick filters, and can be reversed so as to not vignette with very-wide-angle lenses.

[0.2 lb] I bought this X-Pro filter holder (with the Cokin 121M ND filter and 77mm adapter ring) specifically to be used with my Sigma 10-20mm lens and landscape work. I went with the X-Pro specifically due to concerns I had with vignetting on this style of 'ultra'-wide lens. I am happy to report that I am vignette free! I am very pleased with the material and construction of this holder. It is also light weight so no concerns when it comes time for a backpack trip. The holder allows easy adjustment of the filter to suit your horizon.
