According to CineStill, they state they do not recommend dividing up the powder concentrates. Because there is a mixture of several powdered chemical components in these concentrates, each with their own grain size and weight, it's practically impossible to ensure that the chemical concentrations of all components will be accurate if divided by weight or volume, which could lead to uneven development. CineStill always instruct users to mix up the full 1000mL and re-use for up to 16 rolls within two months. Concerning your use of a Lab-Box, CineStill states you should mix up the full 1000mL volume using all of the powder concentrate, pour 300mL from the chemical storage bottle into their Lab-Box, and then pour back into the chemical storage bottle, making a tally mark to indicate the number of rolls processed in the chemistry until they reach 16 or until the mixed chemistry is 2 months old.
