The white RDL D-HA1A Stereo Headphone Amplifier Whitefrom RDL D-HA1A Stereo Headphone Amplifier Whiteis a two pair receiver and audio headphone amplifier compatible with RDL Format-A twisted pair products. Each unit receives stereo audio and 24 VDC power through a rear-panel RJ45 jack fed from a Format-A sender. The left and right audio signals received on pairs B and C of the twisted pair cable are amplified and fed to the left and right channels of the output 3.5mm mini-jack.

The front panel provides the headphone output jack and a single-turn user volume control. There are no illuminated indicators that could be distracting in dark locations, such as a hotel room. The audio input circuits feature very high common mode rejection and a high quality stereo headphone amplifier for superior audio fidelity and low-noise performance.

The amplifier is equipped with two Format-A RJ45 jacks. Either jack may be used as the input. The other RJ45 may be used to connect an additional amplifier or other Format-A receiver. Installation is simple and economical. A standard twisted pair cable is used to connect a Format A sender to the amplifier.

The unit features automatic fused power, hum rejection, low noise, and low distortion for designers and installers looking to work with twisted pair products. The D-HA1A is ideally suited to guest room installations with bedside and restroom listening stations. The input is fully compatible with all RDL Format-A senders

Q: 1. Is this amplifier bridgable?

A: No, this amplifier is not bridgeable. Bridgeable amps have specifically designed electronics for bridging purposes. This isn't one of them.

Q: 2. are batteries rechargeable?

A: It doesn't come with batteries. You buy your own. It takes AA, so you could buy rechargeable if you wanted to. I have run mine only on electricity so far. I like the battery option, though.

Q: 3. Does this work for both moving coil or moving magnet phonos?

A: Unfortunately the manufacturer does not specify which cartridges are recommended, however we would recommend this unit for use with MM cartridges for best results.

Q: 4. does the amp come with alternate switch for use on 240volt power grid as opposed to the 110volt power in the U.S?

A: No 240 volt option. 110 volt only formthe model sold in the US.

Q: 5. Does this allow microphone to be used at same time with other sound source like aux? So is it a mini mixer+amplifier likely thing?

A: Correct: Switchable MIC PAGER and MIXING ModesSet to PAGER, the signal from AUX 1/AUX 2/CD will be attenuated BY -12dB and the signal from MIC will override to page (Auto Talkover), it is good for paging system. Set to MIXING, the signals from AUX 1/AUX 2/CD and MIC will be existed at the same time, it acts like playing at KARAOKE event.

Q: 6. What is the speaker Output ohms for a pyle pro ptau45 mini 120 watt?

A: This amp has a 4 ohm speaker output.

Q: 7. Can the USB port be used for a Bluetooth USB adapter to stream audio?

A: No, the USB port on the Pyle Pro PTAU45 Mini Stereo Power Amplifier cannot be used to connect a Bluetooth USB adapter, however, you can use a Bluetooth adapter with a standard analog audio plug to connect to the RCA aux inputs or the 3.5mm CD/MP3 input. The Aluratek iStream DockFree Bluetooth Audio Receiver (B&H # ALAIS01F) could be a good option for a Bluetooth adapter. It has a 3.5mm plug and comes with an RCA adapter.

Q: 8. Can I connect my nextbook for better sound?

A: You can hook up any audio source with an auxillary cord. I've used phones, iPads, and IPods without an issue so I'm assuming your Nextbook would be similar.

[RDL TP Format-A] I was using the Behringer PowerPlay Pro 4 channel headphone amp but it had a hum in it. Even lifting the ground did't help. I had used Art equipment before and was very pleased with their quality and price so I bought the rackmount HeadAmp6. It is extremely quiet. This is a great amp. 5

[24 VDC @ 20 mA] I went from wireless to the HP2. It's going to be an adjustment being tethered, but this unit has tons of clean power. Getting to the battery compartment requires you to take off the belt clip. If your battery goes out during a gig, a quick replacement would probably be difficult. But great unit overall. 5

[3.63 lb] I bought this item for a use slightly different than the manufacturer's intent - I gave to my boom operator as monitor. I fed him boom on one channel and the mix on the other so her could use the fade feature to select what he was hearing. The sound quality is really good, the construction is durable and the size is convenient. We powered the unit with a 9v battery and it lasted nearly two 12-hour days. That's impressive. 5

[RDL TP Format-A] I needed a way to keep everyone more involved during recording sessions (I was limited to just myself and the vocalist who could tune into tracks). I also wanted to keep going with XLR connectors. HeadAmp6 was the best value to accomplish this! It has plenty of power, even for times when using low-grade headphones. Finally am able to adjust volume for everyones preference, whew. Right out of the box it has worked beautifully. I am so glad I went by the reviews before me - Thanks ALL! 5

[RDL TP Format-A] Very sturdy box and belt clip. Knobs have a nice feel and comfortable resistance to them. Lasts over 10 hours on one battery. Stereo mini XLR to two female XLR Y-cable makes it MUCH lighter on the hip. (Competition has two XLR inputs (L/R) makes this heavy on the belt due to the pull of two cables.) Costs more than P1 but, when you consider PreSonus includes the the power supply and XLR, you wind up spending the same. I have three in my studio. Adding more soon. 5

[3.63 lb] I bought this system as a gift for someone but haven't actually used it yet, although it seems really well built and designed, like most Presonus products. What I'm most impressed with however is B&H getting it to me the day before Christmas when I only ordered it the day before. Hard to believe they actually got it done... [24 VDC @ 20 mA] A quality headphone amp after my trusty Stewart died after 30 years. Lots of options for inputs and chaining these together. 5
