The black DB-CIJ3 Consumer Input Jacks - Mono from RDL is suitable for installations requiring the passive mixing of 2 unbalanced line level audio sources to feed a mono balanced (or unbalanced) audio line. The front panel features 2 gold-plated phono jacks and a single stereo 3.5mm mini-jack intended for mono consumer level sources. An input signal may be connected to either the phono jacks or to the mini-jack. The left and right signal inputs are combined and balanced through audio transformers configured to reject induced hum. A mono line-level output is provided on the rear-panel detachable terminal block for connection to a 10kΩ or higher input impedance line-level module or equipment input.

A: No. Audacity is not inlcuded. Any audio sofware can play the files this will create. If you do not plan on doing any audio manipulation all you need is playback. Quicktime or iTunes would be fine for that.

A: Yes - the Canon EOS 5Dmk3 offers the requisite plug-in power .

Q: 4. Does it work with wireless equipment? Sennheiser G3/Rodelink, etc?

A: This lavalier mic does have a 3,.5mm connection,.and it will work well with the Rode Wirelss Go system. But be aware that the Sennheiser systems as well as the Rodelink systems require a locking 3.5mm connection, so this mic may not make a secure connection and can easily pop out with those transmitters.

Q: 5. Does this work for both moving coil or moving magnet phonos?

A: Unfortunately the manufacturer does not specify which cartridges are recommended, however we would recommend this unit for use with MM cartridges for best results.

Q: 6. What is the deepest table/desktop thickness this stand can be mounted on, i.e. 2.5 inch thick desktop, 3 inch thick desktop, etc.?

A: 2.1 inches.

Q: 7. the clip was the wrong size. which clip I need and why my microphone cover is wrong too

A: The clip is just very tight but it does fit. just be careful not to damage the cable. great microphone.

Q: 8. would this work with zoom h1

A: Yes I just bought this along with a Zoom H1 and it works great.
