The 1000' Camplex OM3 4-Ch Multimode Tactical Fiber LC Cable Reelfeatures a tight-buffered, round cable with 36" aqua fanouts, LC connectors, and a Schill fiber optic reel. The cable is designed for broadcast and audio deployments in indoor and extreme terrain outdoor settings. It is multi-stage machine polished and tested for < -55 dB return loss. Diagnostics documentation is supplied for each channel. The reel features a connector protection cavity, a hinged latching door, and it fully supports the required bend radius.

The cable features a polyurethane outer sheath, thick layer of aramid strength members, helically stranded core for flexibility and survivability, and mechanical optical fiber protection. It is built to withstand chemicals, cuts, abrasions, and crushing by vehicles as heavy as military tanks. It can be used directly on the ground in harsh terrain, such as mining environments.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How many ounces does this hold when full?

A: The tank requires 10oz (290ml) per 35mm roll of film. The tank can hold 5 rolls of 35mm film so it would require 50oz (1,450ml). The tank can also hold 3 rolls of 120/220 film that requires 17oz (500ml) per roll, so that is 51oz (1,500ml) for 3 rolls of 120/220 film.

Q: 2. Will it accept the Nikkor/Honeywell stainless steel film reels ?

A: No, stainless steel developing reels are not compatible with this tank.

Q: 3. my reel isn’t fitting 35mm film, it keeps falling off of the reel when i try to use it?? i’ve tried this with ilford and kodak and neither fit?

A: Unfortunately, that does not seem to be typical with the Paterson reels and could be due to a faulty product or user error. I'd recommend practicing with a previously developed or unimportantly roll of 35mm with the lights on just to see if you can get it to work. If not, please give us a call or live-chat and we can figure out this issue together.

Q: 4. I'm guessing the answer is Yes, but can I develop 1x135 AND 1x120 in ths Multi-Reel 3 tank? But not 2x135 and 1x120.

A: That is correct. Either a single 35mm and a single 120 at the same time OR two 35mm OR two 120. A tip if using one 35mm and one 120 is to take half of another reel and put that in the top of the tank to make sure the two teels with the film are pushed below the developer level. Sometimes in certain instances if you leave that gap the reels will float to the top after agitation and they may rise above the level of the developer leaving part of the film in the top reel to be undeveloped. Putting one side of another reel on the top prevents that from happening.

Q: 5. How long is the snake?

A: No cable is provided with this item; it is just the reel. The reel's capacity is dependent on the outer diameter of the cable you use. Cable Capacity:0.41 OD: 750' (228.6 m)0.45 OD: 600' (182.9 m)0.49 OD: 500' (152.4 m)0.58 OD: 350' (106.7 m)0.67 OD: 250' (76.2 m)

Q: 6. what's difference between this and Paterson 4 x 5 Sheet Film Developing Tank with Reel?

A: Thus reply may not be helpful, but I will try -- Paterson tanks have interchangable parts. Between the parts you will need to buy and those you may already have, for 4x5 you will need a tall tank, a long center tube, and a 4x5 holder. The holder looks vaguely like a dragon and holds up to 6 sheets. I have loaded mine with up to 4 sheets in a changing bag. The tank holds twice the developer of a short tank (which is for one 120 roll of film.) If you have two 120 spools, you can develop two 120 rolls. instead of the 4x5 sheets.Other parts: a funnel to make the tank light tight, a tank top to keep the fluids in place, and a twist part to allow agitation. These are the same for small or large tanks and come with the tank.l

Q: 7. Do I necessarily need to develop either 3 35mm rolls or 2 120 rolls to use it or can I develop just 2 35mm rolls?

A: You can certainly develop anywhere from 1-3 rolls without any issue.

Q: 8. So, does this come with the center column???

A: Yes, it does. You get the top, funnel, tube, and something you can put at the top of the funnel to agitate as well. The reels are not included. Sorry for the delayed response. I'm just catching up on my emails.

Q: 9. how many exposures can fit on a reel?

A: The most it will handle is a 36 exposures of a 35 mm film! No medium format

Q: 10. I know it says that this (Paterson 35mm) tank will take a single 35mm but will it also take a single 120?

A: No.If you want to develop for 120 film, check the Paterson Universal Tank with Two Reels (Super System 4) On that one you can adjust the reel height to accomodate the 120 film.

[4x LC] We use this to get audio/video to the front and back of large conference rooms, works great. The cable is only as thick as a single regular XLR cable.

[4x LC] While I wasn't a fan of the cost at first, this is certainly a product where we are getting what we paid for. Cars and trucks of all sizes run over these cables all the time while we are trying to set things up, and after a year, the cables still look new- no signs of damage or even wear. They have sat outside for over a month at a time, in the rain and snow (minus the ends), and they just work great.

[50 µm] Perfect solution instead of re-ending long fiber runs. Product is well made and works great. Make sure you match the fiber mode.
