The 1250' Camplex OM3 4-Ch Multimode Tactical Fiber ST Cable Reelfeatures a tight-buffered, round cable with 36" aqua fanouts, ST connectors, and a Schill fiber optic reel. The cable is designed for broadcast and audio deployments in indoor and extreme terrain outdoor settings. It is multi-stage machine polished and tested for < -55 dB return loss. Diagnostics documentation is supplied for each channel. The reel features a connector protection cavity, a hinged latching door, and it fully supports the required bend radius.

The cable features a polyurethane outer sheath, thick layer of aramid strength members, helically stranded core for flexibility and survivability, and mechanical optical fiber protection. It is built to withstand chemicals, cuts, abrasions, and crushing by vehicles as heavy as military tanks. It can be used directly on the ground in harsh terrain, such as mining environments.

Q: 10. I just came from a Staples store interested in buying a Epson ET 2850 or 2800 which have the Ecotank for the ink. I had 2 separate employees tell me that the ink dries out if the printer is not used on a daily basis - the air can get to the them whereas the cartridges are sealed and no air can get to them. They told me not to buy a printer with the ecotanks since I wouldn't be using it frequently enough. Is this true? I liked the idea of the ecotanks but I don't want to be replacing the printer in a few months or so.

A: True, if you are not using the Epson EcoTank Photo ET-8500 Wireless Color All-in-One Supertank Printer on a regular basis, then you will want to keep the ink tank full. This way, no air will stay in the ink tanks. However, even with ink cartridges, you also run into the issue of a cartridge drying out.

[50 µm] While I wasn't a fan of the cost at first, this is certainly a product where we are getting what we paid for. Cars and trucks of all sizes run over these cables all the time while we are trying to set things up, and after a year, the cables still look new- no signs of damage or even wear. They have sat outside for over a month at a time, in the rain and snow (minus the ends), and they just work great. 5

[< -55 dB] We use this to get audio/video to the front and back of large conference rooms, works great. The cable is only as thick as a single regular XLR cable. 5
