The black SKB 3U Roto Shallow Rack Case Steel Railsfrom SKB 3U Roto Shallow Rack Case Steel Railsis a rotationally-molded shallow rack case with multiple applications, including holding equipment such as computers or music players which are "rack-able" or which can be screwed into the case. This case has steel front and rear threaded rails with a rail-to-rail depth of 10.7" and three vertical rack units. There is a water-resistant gasket in the lid and a side grip handle.

A: Yes you can use the SKB 1SKB19-REX6 as a stand alone unit. It would just be a 6U rack with casters if you put them on it. It can also be used in conjunction with the The Mighty Gig Rig as well.

A: It will not fit a 40" c stand even with the base removed.

A: The PXW-Z90V will have very similar dimensions to the PXW-X70. We believe the Z90V should fit in to this case as well.

Q: 6. Will this fit Profoto B10? The specs say the shaft is 8 mm (same as Westcott umbrella -- which does NOT fit). B10 requires a 7mm shaft. So... does this Profoto umbrella fit the Profoto B10 strobe?

A: Yes, the Profoto Shallow Translucent Umbrella (Medium, 41") will fit int the B10's umbrella port.

A: No, the SKB Roto-Molded Tripod Case with Wheels (46") is not large enough for the Sachtler Pedestal C III.

Q: 9. I am interested in the SKB Roto-Molded Tripod Case (24 Tall). Would two tripods (each under 23 inches tall) and two ball heads not attached fit in this case?

A: Hi Lynette, It depends on the diameter of the tripod legs to judge if you have enough room for the two ball heads. If you have tripods for still cameras most likely they will fit as they tend to be smaller than tripods for video. Two tripods each under 23 inches should fit no problem unless the diameter of the legs closed is over 6 per tripod. To verify you could use a piece of gaffers tape and tape the the two tripods together and measure. Thank you,Will

[Side Handle] This is everything you want in a plastic rack case. Its a little heavier than the earlier versions, but miles ahead in terms of design and sturdiness. 5

[Plastic] And the feet are definitely rubber. Loading ANY rack, even with just 1 piece of gear, and then setting it on a leather chair like another reviewer did is just asking for trouble. Most chairs, especially nice leather ones, are sloped down towards the front. Anyway, great rack. Perfect for a guitarist with a minimalist setup. An extra plus, and the main reason I got it, is that the rails are recessed about an inch, so most knobs and switches aren't sticking out beyond the front edges. This gives mounted gear an extra measure of protection in case it topples over and falls on its face. ;) 5

[12.2 lb] Sturdy, protective, and everything I expected. Has rails on both sides. This thing is solid. I had to muscle the included rack screws carefully by hand due to the fresh coat of paint on the screws and rails. Once they had been fully inserted and the threads were broken in they began to glide in and out with an electric drill or by hand just as they should. Just be careful the first time in because it's all brand new. Great product; I'd buy it again. Best case right here if you're not in the market for a wood+aluminum road case. 5
