[Latch] Had I realized that the QSC Touchmix comes with a very nice custom case, I don't think I would have spent the extra few dollars to buy the kit that came bundled with this case. There's no question that if you plan to be using your gear on the road, getting it bumped around and rained on while loading and unloading in the elements, this is going to offer better protection than the OEM included case. Also, the OEM case has QSC emblazoned upon it, which tends to advertise that there's something expensive inside, versus this nondescript case.

[20 lb] This actual purchase was a gift, but I've carried this case for 3 years, the last 2 years it has had 2 cameras in it with some accessories. This case is very sturdy and tough! The only reason I got rid of it was to get a larger case which was the SKB iSeries for 3 GOPros. Best case on the market for a reasonable price!!

[20 lb] So while Pelican has been the defacto injection molded case for some time, (I currently own about 20 of them), I'm done with them. Why? On one fateful assignment recently, I had a Pelican lid crack all the way through. Undaunted, I contacted Pelican to see about a replacement lid since the cases (allegedly) have a lifetime warranty. But guess what? Pelican does NOT warranty ANY damage incurred during travel on commercial airlines. Seriously? Isn't that what WE BUY THEM FOR?? So.... I started looking around, and have since purchased two new SKB cases and love them. Time will tell if they'll hold up as well (I suspect they will, based on how incredibly well built they seem to be) but if not, I know that SKB WILL warranty damage incurred during air travel because I contacted them and specifically asked before purchasing. What I thought Pelican did all along.....

[Yes] The QSC Touchmix 8 comes with a soft case, but since I travel so much I wanted to get something extra protective since it's such and expensive piece of gear. This road case is awesome! Perfect to store the Touchmix itself, power cable and I keep my ipad mini, in-ear monitors and headphone extension in the box as well. I highly recommend this case if you travel a lot and are looking for some sturdy protection for your Touchmix.

[20 lb] I find these cases quite useful which explains why this is the 5th one I've purchased in varying sizes. I use them to hold and protect various pieces of electronic gear and expensive headphones. Something like this is a good idea as part of your Go Bag to keep your things safe and dry. While there are a lot of brands making quality cases similar to these, the reason I prefer the SKB is the clasps. If you like a tight snapping clasp, go with the Pelican. The Storms are softer but I like the SKB clasp the most as I have a bit of arthritis and these can easily be opened with one finger and can be opened silently. I also prefer the clasps on the front rather than the sides. There are two hasps that you can put a padlock through or attach a shoulder-strap to.

[Latch] I love this case. It's strong and makes my camera look good when I open it in front of my clients. Two thumbs up!

[Universal] Awesome case , camera fits like it should! American made and the quality shows!! Room for everything that I need!!!

[Universal] I will attached to the rear of my motorcycle panniers and use it to lock away my Olympus OM-D EM-1 when I do not want to leave it in my tank bag and before crossing rivers. The EM-1 and 12-40 lens with fit snuggly with the insert supplier but the flash will need to be detached. I believe it would travel fine on an airline etc like this as well. SKB sells TSA approved locks that insert into the clasps but there also a through hole provided next to the clasps for padlocks and I think that is what I will use when riding. I think I will be happy for the piece of mind this will afford me on trips.
