A: YES. It is just like any umbrella you would use for going out in the rain (except without a handle). Collapses and slides into a storage sleeve. Very compact. Slide the metal shaft into an umbrella holder and mount on a light stand. I have two of these. They are great and inexpensive. The cover comes off so you can shoot through the white umbrella with your flash or flip it around and then put the silver/black reflector cover on and use the umbrella to reflect your flash back to your subject for a little more light control. I can do large group shots with two of these. One on camera left and camera right. You will need a system to fire your flashes or strobes remotely.

A: yes, the model I have is completely removable. It comes off each umbrella tip and the top point. Hope this helps.

[Fiberboard] This is an excellent frame for 13 x 19 size photos for the wall. Well made and very budget friendly. It's not overstated in any way or trying to be something it's not. Looks really good. Multi frames could easily be used to display various photos and not ruin the total look. 5
