A: The Black cover can be completely removed or partially. The black cover is removed with the umbrella completely folded. The protective cap is unscrewed so you can remove the cover.

A: yes, the model I have is completely removable. It comes off each umbrella tip and the top point. Hope this helps.

Q: 9. Is this a shoot thru when the black is removed?

[Fiberboard] This is an excellent product for the price to display large photos on the wall. The color of white wash on ash looks great with a photo with a blurred out white or light colored background. The quality of the wooden frame structure and wooden back to secure the photo in the frame is outstanding. This item is well worth the cost. 5

[Fiberboard] This is an excellent frame for 13 x 19 size photos for the wall. Well made and very budget friendly. It's not overstated in any way or trying to be something it's not. Looks really good. Multi frames could easily be used to display various photos and not ruin the total look. 5
