Yes you can plug in a USB flash drive, but preferred method for me is to pop in a digital camera card because you can close the access door on the card, but must leave it open to accommodate the flash drive. Like a flat screen television, truest colors are experienced when you view the image head on. Mine has been a great attention grabber and has brought customers through my front door. I was sold by the ability to wall mount this unit using what they call a VESA mount.
