[Glass] This is an excellent product for the price to display large photos on the wall. The color of white wash on ash looks great with a photo with a blurred out white or light colored background. The quality of the wooden frame structure and wooden back to secure the photo in the frame is outstanding. This item is well worth the cost.

[Glass] It is exactly what I was looking for. the satin finish was not too much satin, in that it did not have a lot of reflection. It comes with the necessary hardware to hang it.

[Beech] I used this for a family portrait station at a Haloween Event to support my hair light. It worked perfectly. Extremely well built.

The main reason i chose this boom arm is that it seemed to be the least bulky for packing in my light stand bag. The pivot point on some of the other options stick out and have huge handles and so forth making it akward to fit in with other gear.

You must realize you need to buy a "grip head" separately to use this. I used a matthews mini-grip head (if you are not familiar with this grip head it is a hard plastic and much smaller than a standard grip head). It was very secure and there were zero issues with slippage.

So right now that head is priced at 30 dollars so you are looiking at around 140 for a working setup, but odds are if you are looking at this you already own plenty of grip heads.

Anyway i'm glad i found this as i shoot on location a lot, and its important i can pack gear up in my kit.

I took a chance on this one and i'm glad i did. Highly recommended.

[Glass] I have a studio in somewhat cramped space. Shoot portraits, using soft boxes with two diffusers and a grid. Get up close to my sitters. Have two C-Stands with baby booms which make the area safer. Easy to adjust height and angle. Looks good. Looks professional. Nothing bad. I will make better use of the equipment as I add more grip gadgets.
