[8.6 x 8 x 4.4"] I bought this to connect my aging Samsung monitor, which only has DVI and VGA inputs, to my new computer which only has DisplayPort and HDMI outputs. Since the monitor doesn't have a sound system in it, DisplayPort is the natural choice, and I use the HDMI of for my pen tablet. Cable works flawlessly with no problems in picture quality and has plenty of length to be able to stow the computer out of the way. It feels durable enough to last many years. 5

[8.6 x 8 x 4.4"] I'm a fan of StarTech, and I wasn't disappointed. The one thing to note was that this cable is thankfully not an inch thick. I have another DVI-I cable that you couldn't chop through with a splitting maul, but this DVI-D cable is reasonably built which makes for much easier routing. Still thick, as DVI cables all are, but not suspension bridge thick. 5
