Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this work with the 6k pro cage?

A: Yes.

Q: 2. Does the item contain center column, funnel and agitator?

A: Yes. It contains all of these. It just doesn't include the spools.

Q: 3. Does the multi 8 system come with the center column, or is it sold seperately?

A: Yes Aaron mine had the center column with it.....

Q: 4. How tall is this tank? I am looking for something to process 5x12" sheet film.

A: This is less the 11" tall

Q: 5. I know it says that this (Paterson 35mm) tank will take a single 35mm but will it also take a single 120?

A: No.If you want to develop for 120 film, check the Paterson Universal Tank with Two Reels (Super System 4) On that one you can adjust the reel height to accomodate the 120 film.

Q: 6. Can I use it for 4x5 format sheet films?

A: Yes, you can buy an insert or fold them up with hair ties (search taco style ) and it works.

Q: 7. There have been concerns that this cord cannot keep up with 6k braw. Do you know if it capable of being used with a 6k pro?

A: Yes, the Tilta 90° USB Type-C Cable for Tilta BMPCC 4K Cage supports 6K BRAW.

Q: 8. Does this reel come with the handle and crank? Description says they're optional, but I don't see them listed under the accessories.

A: As you see it, it comes with the tall, non-folding top handle and that direct crank handle. However, if you need to save space, you can order an optional, folding top handle and an optional, removable crank handle.

Q: 9. How many millilitres does it take to fill the Multi-Reel 8 Tank?

A: The standard rule of thumb is 10 oz (300 ml) for each 35 mm plastic reel, or 2400 ml or 80 oz. It's a good idea to add a little more chemistry than that. Even if you have 7 rolls of film, you must add the 8th reel and the chemistry to reflect 8 reels to make sure no light leaks in the gap.Or, you may use 5 rolls of 120 film to fill this tank. Each reel requires 500 ml (17 oz), for 5 rolls 2.5 liters (85 oz). Any other combination of 120 and 35: before loading, stack your reels and make sure the funnel locks in place. If too high, the funnel won't lock in place. Don't do it. You won't have a tight seal and you will leak light and fog your film, or worse.

Q: 10. how many feet of cable are on this reel?

A: How many feet of cable this reel is able to handle will be determined by the Outer Diameter of the cable used. For a cable that is .41 OD you'd get 750 feet, while a .67 OD cable will give you 250'. Here is a chart that goes over a few different cable runs:0.41 OD: 750' (228.6 m)0.45 OD: 600' (182.9 m)0.49 OD: 500' (152.4 m)0.58 OD: 350' (106.7 m)0.67 OD: 250' (76.2 m)

[62.5 µm] While I wasn't a fan of the cost at first, this is certainly a product where we are getting what we paid for. Cars and trucks of all sizes run over these cables all the time while we are trying to set things up, and after a year, the cables still look new- no signs of damage or even wear. They have sat outside for over a month at a time, in the rain and snow (minus the ends), and they just work great.

[12x LC] We have been using four TFS DuraTAC fiber reels for outdoor events over the past three years without any issues. Cable diameter is slightly less than competitive cables but they are more durable because they are reinforced with stainless steel armored tubing. Highly recommended!

[62.5 µm] Perfect solution instead of re-ending long fiber runs. Product is well made and works great. Make sure you match the fiber mode.
