This 100 ft Camplex SMPTE opticalCON QUAD Multimode Fiber Tactical Snakesfrom Camplex SMPTE opticalCON QUAD Multimode Fiber Tactical Snakesis a four-fiber cable suitable for outdoor and indoor use. It features a Neutrik OpticalCON QUAD NO4MX connector on each end, COCA factory terminated and interferometrically tested to GR-326-CORE endface standards. The connectors have common LC contacts and a mechanical shutter system that shields against endface contamination. The cable is tested for < -55dB typical return and comes with diagnostics documentation.

The connectors are assembled using the Neutrik opticalCON ADVANCED system, which adds lockable, waterproof metal caps and rubber guards, especially critical for outdoor applications. This improves the cable protection and water resistance in long-term use.

A: Dear Kelly, This is Jules from product support at Symbiosis, Decimator's master distributor for your region. The MD-Quad has four 3G-SDI inputs, one 3G-SDI output and one HDMI output. Both outputs carry the same picture at the same format. You wouldn't be able to drive three monitors with different tiles of your source to produce a video wall. The MD-Quad effectively works the other way round to take up to four inputs and put them onto one monitor. Q: 8. Can this cage be used with the new pocket 6k ?

A: Yes, any kit shipped after 23th August will including a logo attachment replace piece. That will allow you to use the cage with 6k camera. If you got the version without the logo attachment, please contact BH, and they will send you one

Q: 9. Can the handle be screwed on the right side for right handed shooters?

A: No, the right hand is meant to get a grip of the camera's natural right grip.

Q: 10. Is this cage compatible with the black magic design battery grip that goes underneath the camera?

A: We're afraid not. This will not accommodate the Pocket Cinema Camera 4K/6K with Blackmagic's battery grip attached.

[LC] I have a reel with just one channel on it, but found out it's cheaper to buy this cable and just remove the bracket from the LC side. Comes right out without cutting anything. 5

[Multimode] Cable worked as expected. We use it for our field camera on football game days. We can move all over the field without a signal drop. 5

[-55 to -45 dB] We use this to get audio/video to the front and back of large conference rooms, works great. The cable is only as thick as a single regular XLR cable. 5

[-55 to -45 dB] While I wasn't a fan of the cost at first, this is certainly a product where we are getting what we paid for. Cars and trucks of all sizes run over these cables all the time while we are trying to set things up, and after a year, the cables still look new- no signs of damage or even wear. They have sat outside for over a month at a time, in the rain and snow (minus the ends), and they just work great. 5
