Enhance your productivity with the X-Keys XK-12 Jog and Shuttle. This interface has twelve user-definable keys with a jog wheel and shuttle key that have addressable back-lighting in a low profile footprint. Designed for handheld, mounted, or desktop use, the XK-12 can be used in portrait or landscape orientation. Its full-travel keys mimic the feel of a traditional keyboard and the included angled feet let you give the unit a slight tilt. Blue and red addressable back-lighting enhances key identification in low light environments.

Q: 1. Can it be used as a playback/highlights for sports for example?

A: Yes, because the Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Shuttle HD can record the incoming HDMI feed and then play those recordings back, it can be used as a playback device for sports highlights.

Q: 2. Does this work with Lightroom?

A: The X-keys XK-12 Jog and Shuttle can be programed for various keyboard emulations so it can be programmed for use in Adobe Lightroom.

Q: 3. Does this device work properly with Big Sur?

A: At this time Big Sur is not supported.

Q: 4. Are there any 2280 NVMe SSDs that are not compatible with the shuttle?

A: The OWC U2 Shuttle would not be recommended for use with drives that have integrated heatsinks.

Q: 5. Can the search dial be used for editing in DaVinci resolve similar to the editor keyboards?

A: At this time the Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Shuttle HD does not double as a DaVinci Resolve controller.

Q: 6. Can this device be used as a webcam ?

A: Since the Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Shuttle HD has an HDMI output, you could technically feed that output into a capture card, and then select that feed as a web camera source. However, since the Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Shuttle HD doesn't have a camera, or any direct encoding support, it is not really made to be used as a web camera, and using it as such is not something we would recommend.

Q: 7. I see a lip around this device. Would i be able to cut a whole in my desk to make it flush-mount?

A: The Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Shuttle HD - BH #BLHDSHD is designed for tabletop use. If one was skilled, precise, and careful enough I suppose this would be possible.

Q: 8. Is this bootable as a RAID 10?

A: Yes, the OWC U2 Shuttle can be configured in RAID 10.

Q: 9. Is it possible to quickly switch between clip playback and HDMI Passthrough? I have an ATEM Mino Pro which has 4 inputs, I have a 4 camera shoot, I'd like to be able to run one camera into the HDMI input of the hyperdeck, and then run the hyperdeck into the ATEM. I'd then like to just output the HDMI signal, but then when I need to play a clip either trigger it from the device or ATEM software control and have it switch. Then switch the HDMI output back to the input feed.

A: When in record mode the camera signal will be shown. And simply pressing Play on the Hyperdeck Shuttle will start playing clips.

Q: 10. Does this work with premiere pro

A: Yes all of our Xkeys keyboards are compatible with Premiere Pro.

[1.155 lb] This thing has really helped for when I'm traveling. It's small so doesn't take up space but give me a jog wheel for when I'm editing on the road. I am very happy with this product. 5

[1.155 lb] Easy to use with the Teleprompter application on the Mac Store. You can set the wheel to work in the background if the teleprompter application is not in focus, which makes it more reliable as an operating tool. Also works with a wide variety of other applications, such as Davinci Resolve. 5

[USB] Nice controller! I did buy this controller because it fits great in my backpack with everything included. If you wanna improvise a party or something like that you must buy this controller. It's small and pretty lightweight. I recommend this one for beginners and pro people just like me hahaha just kidding. Thanks again BH photovideo. 5
