The XK-3 Media Player Foot Pedal comes pre-programmed with the USB media commands for play/pause, previous track, and next track. It supports plug and play on all computers with USB and on tablets supporting USB HID input. This pedal installs as a media device and does not interfere with on-screen keyboards

The XK-3 Media Player Foot Pedal can be programmed to perform mouse clicks and specific keyboard operations too. To this end, X-keys provides free tools downloadable from their website. For Windows they offer MacroWorks 3.1 and for OS X they offer ControllerMate. [2.4 lb] So easy to program. I downloaded the software and set this baby up within minutes to use to replicate just the arrows of a USB keyboard. I plan on getting another differently shaped model too. The company was very user-friendly and it is all very intuitive to setup. 5

[18 mA at 5 VDC] I have 8 XKEYS panels for 4 VMIX's, 1 for 4 channels of Chyron, 1 to toggle ENPS for news rundowns, 1 for the production truck that runs the graphics. Also a backup that's never needed to be used. Great boxes, no problems, easy to program. 5

[18 mA at 5 VDC] We will use the XK-3 foot Pedal to control our song set. We can scroll thru our songs up or down start a song and when the song ends stop it before the next song starts to play. When I received my XK-3 Media Player Foot Pedal I hooked it up to my laptop and my laptop was connected to my Bose L1 II rehearsed that evening and the XK-3 worked like a champ, the true test will be using it in a live concert.The quality of the XK-3 Media Player Foot Pedal seems to be very good. It has some weight to it looks like it should hold up but time will tell. 5

[2.4 lb] We're running control room software from Strasis Systems which directly supports all X-Keys keyboards. This keyboard provides our operators the ability to control what they see which greatly simplifies system interaction. We printed custom overlays for each key making it very simple to find a function quickly... the back lighting works great in low light conditions and is programmable (blue, red, magenta shades only). Overall a industrial grade product... we are very happy and have purchased additional X-Keys keyboards. 5

[2.4 lb] This thing just works! Right out of the box we had it set up and programmed in a few minutes. Using it to bring up video grabs in a hurry during hockey games... saves us a lot of time and means anyone can drive the system without needing to know their way around the mixing software. We're in Australia and we received it from the US in three days. Very impressed! 5

[2.4 lb] I used the XK-24 for years for my rigging automation control desk and it's been flawless. But I always longed for more buttons haha. Now my software has native support for the XK-80 and it has made my programming muuuuuch more efficient. Highly recommended. 5

One amazing note on my choice of this - super easy to find keys in Virtual Reality flight simulator. Exactly what I hoped for!
