The ZeeVee HDb2840 Digital Video Encoder Modulatorfrom ZeeVee HDb2840 Digital Video Encoder Modulatoris a 4-channel HD modulator with unencrypted HDMI inputs. You can save an MPEG-2 video file to the 300MB internal memory, and use it as an additional 5th channel. This unit distributes HD video throughout your facility, while using existing coaxial cables. It is HDTV compatible,

The LCD front panel provides device status of IP address, data rate encoding, configured RF and digital channels. The Maestro software allows you to configure and entire headend quickly, view status and configurations, apply a value to all channels with a few clicks, and create your channel plan on one page. This unit also features an Emergency Alert System (EAS) capability.

A: Yes, you may use your own data sims with the LiveU Solo Connect 2-Modem Bundle for Solo Video Encoder.

Q: 4. I have a couple channels that should be HD but I am picking them up in SD. I am transmitting in HD but only SD will go out because that is what I am getting. The two I know of are ESPN and Fox Sports SW. Why am I receiving SD signal when it should be HD?

A: The product features 480i or 576i video resolutions, it does not go up to HD resolutions I'm afraid. ZeeVee does have other products that do go up to 1080 with their output, such as the ZvPro 820 Dual Channel HDMI Encoder.

Q: 5. Can the usb dongles be used independent of the LiveU as well for computer data transfer and, if so, is the data still unlimited?

A: They cannot. These dongles are designed to be used with the LiveU Solo only.

A: When you purchase Solo, you would pick either the two or three Connect Start Kit, but in order to get the data (SIMs), you also need to purchase the LRT Connect Kit with the "Yearly" service. This provides the unlimited data package for Solo.

Q: 9. Does the 4G or 5G modem come in the box or are they purchased separately?

A: The Kiloview P3 5G Bonding Video Encoder does not come with modems, and you will need to add sims for the modem cards. You can add either the 4G modem or 5G modem cards, or any combination of the two. Up to four modems can be added. [8.6 lb] This has been solid so far. I wish they allowed you to save presets. For example, preset A = 1080p60 to Facebook , preset B = 720p to Twitch. So that things can be switched and set up quickly. Pairing the LiveU Solo with Restream is really powerful. The best way to do this is get data and bonding from LiveU. Buy the cellular modems from B&H. 5

[> 38 dB typical] I’ve been streaming live events now for 2 years and this is just what I’ve looked for. I bought one and tested thoroughly with several configurations and they all worked flawlessly. I tried two cell connections via 2 Mofi 4500 modems with AT&T sim and T-Mobile sim. In one test I connected one Mofi via Ethernet connection and the other via WiFi. In the middle of streaming I physically unplugged the Ethernet cable leaving only the WiFi active. It continued streaming at 1080p with barely a hickup. I say “barely” because there was a very slight glitch in the video but other than that — flawless. Wow. I’m was impressed enough that I bought a 2nd LiveU for carrying on my hip and shooting with a single camera for run-and-gun. The cellular bonding technology is amazing and just what I’ve needed. I have not tried it in the field yet but am confident it will do the job for me. 5

[45,000 hours] We use two of these for our digital signage around campus. These encoders have been up and running 24/7 for around 5 years and we've never had any issues. I've been really pleased with the continued support and firmware updates from ZeeVee as well as how easy it is to manage them from the web interface. 5

[< 1% typical] I works perfect. The only thing i can complain is i wish they have an app for this encoder or may be i just don't know it. And the bonding LT service i feel like its too expensive. 5

[8.6 lb] I've been selling and installing both the RF only and RF+IP models of the ZVPRO since 2015. We had one power supply fail in that time frame. That unit was in a less than ideal location being bombarded with construction dust. The customer also had daisy chained power strips which I'm sure didn't help. That's it. We've had no other issues. All these units are still in service. 5

[Programmable] I purchase it as a 2 channel HDMI QAM modulator, Video quality is amazing, now i realized that I can also use it for IPTV streaming over our network, we streem 2 programs from Direct Tv Set top box to any of our 240 computers in our building , I search the net , i would need to pay more just for the IP streamers - good value 5
