Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this include a funnel and agitation tube?

A: It comes with a Paterson 35mm Tank with Reel (Super System 4) and a 35mm plastic reel. A funnel and agitation tube are not included.

Q: 2. So the reel says 290 ml? Can someone break down how much developer to water I use?

A: This tank holds 20 US OZ. Look at your developer dilution. I use Sprint chemistry. For 2 rolls of 35 mm it is 4:16 and the same for one roll of 120 fiilm. The ratio is 4 oz of developer to 16oz if water.Hope this is helpful,Karey

Q: 3. Do I necessarily need to develop either 3 35mm rolls or 2 120 rolls to use it or can I develop just 2 35mm rolls?

A: You can certainly develop anywhere from 1-3 rolls without any issue.

Q: 4. Could I use this product for a video wall of three monitors? I would like to be able to display a 1x3 video on these monitors at 1080P resolution for each monitor.

A: Dear Kelly, This is Jules from product support at Symbiosis, Decimator's master distributor for your region. The MD-Quad has four 3G-SDI inputs, one 3G-SDI output and one HDMI output. Both outputs carry the same picture at the same format. You wouldn't be able to drive three monitors with different tiles of your source to produce a video wall. The MD-Quad effectively works the other way round to take up to four inputs and put them onto one monitor. I hope this helps but if you have any questions please feel free to contact us on support@symbiosis.com. Kind Regards Jules

Q: 5. Will it accept the Nikkor/Honeywell stainless steel film reels ?

A: No, stainless steel developing reels are not compatible with this tank.

Q: 6. is this light tight without the rubberized cover? i.e. just the funnel thing in place.

A: Yes, it's light tight as long as you have the funnel set in correctly and twisted until it snaps in place.

Q: 7. How many ounces does this hold when full?

A: The tank requires 10oz (290ml) per 35mm roll of film. The tank can hold 5 rolls of 35mm film so it would require 50oz (1,450ml). The tank can also hold 3 rolls of 120/220 film that requires 17oz (500ml) per roll, so that is 51oz (1,500ml) for 3 rolls of 120/220 film.

Q: 8. Is the antenna replaceable?

A: No, the antennas are integrated into the Accsoon CineView Quad Multi-Spectrum Wireless Video Transmission System.

Q: 9. Does this kit come with any reels, or must they be purchased separately?

A: You have to purchase separately.

Q: 10. How many ounces does this hold with 2 reels?

A: The tank holds 33.8oz (1L) with room or a bit more. 35mm x2: 20oz120 x2: 35oz

[Single Mode] I have a reel with just one channel on it, but found out it's cheaper to buy this cable and just remove the bracket from the LC side. Comes right out without cutting anything.

[Single Mode] We have been using four TFS DuraTAC fiber reels for outdoor events over the past three years without any issues. Cable diameter is slightly less than competitive cables but they are more durable because they are reinforced with stainless steel armored tubing. Highly recommended!

[-55 to -45 dB] i purchased this to run in a drop ceiling in a large building. i didn't want anything to hurt the fibre, so i wanted it armored. (I EVEN ACCIDENTALLY RAN THIS CABLE OVER WITH A SCISSOR LIFT!!) this armored cable is a beast! THIS CABLE DID NOT WORK FOR ME AT FIRST! i was sweating bullets trying to figure out what was wrong! i called their customer service and figured out quickly that they are manufactured as CROSSOVER cables. i had to pop the plastic duplex connector off one end and swap the two fiber cables. then all worked beautifully! LOVE THE PRODUCT!

[LC] While I wasn't a fan of the cost at first, this is certainly a product where we are getting what we paid for. Cars and trucks of all sizes run over these cables all the time while we are trying to set things up, and after a year, the cables still look new- no signs of damage or even wear. They have sat outside for over a month at a time, in the rain and snow (minus the ends), and they just work great.

[Single Mode] For Tactical fiber cables, these are ultra light weight, but they do take a beating! Great Cables!

[9 µm] Perfect solution instead of re-ending long fiber runs. Product is well made and works great. Make sure you match the fiber mode.

[LC] I had to drill large holes in the very center of the plate to allow for easy in/out of the short end of the cable. After that these reels worked great. Totally worth the price and the headache relief of under/over cable wrapping until your arms fall off.

I started with 1 and bought 5 more recently.
