This 328 ft Camplex opticalCON QUAD Singlemode Fiber Tactical Reel 328ftfrom Camplex opticalCON QUAD Singlemode Fiber Tactical Reel 328ftis a four fiber broadcast interconnect cable with a heavy duty tactical reel. It features a Neutrik opticalCON QUAD NO4SX connector on each end, COCA factory terminated and interferometrically tested to GR-326-CORE endface standards. The connectors have common LC contacts and a mechanical shutter system that shields against endface contamination. The cable is tested for < -55dB typical return and comes with diagnostics documentation. The reel includes a side reel flange.

The connectors are assembled using the Neutrik opticalCON ADVANCED system, which adds lockable, waterproof metal caps and rubber guards, especially critical for outdoor applications. This improves the cable protection and water resistance in long-term use.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How many ounces does this hold with 2 reels?

A: The tank holds 33.8oz (1L) with room or a bit more. 35mm x2: 20oz120 x2: 35oz

Q: 2. I'm guessing the answer is Yes, but can I develop 1x135 AND 1x120 in ths Multi-Reel 3 tank? But not 2x135 and 1x120.

A: That is correct. Either a single 35mm and a single 120 at the same time OR two 35mm OR two 120. A tip if using one 35mm and one 120 is to take half of another reel and put that in the top of the tank to make sure the two teels with the film are pushed below the developer level. Sometimes in certain instances if you leave that gap the reels will float to the top after agitation and they may rise above the level of the developer leaving part of the film in the top reel to be undeveloped. Putting one side of another reel on the top prevents that from happening.

Q: 3. Can this product be ordered with a divider disk?

A: Sorry, we were unable to find any information that Hannay Reels provides any storage reel with a divider.

Q: 4. Could I use this product for a video wall of three monitors? I would like to be able to display a 1x3 video on these monitors at 1080P resolution for each monitor.

A: Dear Kelly, This is Jules from product support at Symbiosis, Decimator's master distributor for your region. The MD-Quad has four 3G-SDI inputs, one 3G-SDI output and one HDMI output. Both outputs carry the same picture at the same format. You wouldn't be able to drive three monitors with different tiles of your source to produce a video wall. The MD-Quad effectively works the other way round to take up to four inputs and put them onto one monitor. I hope this helps but if you have any questions please feel free to contact us on support@symbiosis.com. Kind Regards Jules

Q: 5. Will it accept the Nikkor/Honeywell stainless steel film reels ?

A: No, stainless steel developing reels are not compatible with this tank.

Q: 6. Is the antenna replaceable?

A: No, the antennas are integrated into the Accsoon CineView Quad Multi-Spectrum Wireless Video Transmission System.

Q: 7. Does this kit come with any reels, or must they be purchased separately?

A: You have to purchase separately.

Q: 8. What is the resolution of the HDMI output? My goal is to feed 4 1080p SDI inputs into one 4K HDMI output.

A: The DECIMATOR MD-QUAD 3G/HD/SD-SDI Quad Split Multi-Viewer with SD/HD/3G-SDI & HDMI Outputs Version 3 can only output a max resolution of 1080p via the HDMI output. The Blackmagic Design MultiView 4, BH #BLMV4, would allow for 4 1080p SDI inputs to output via HDMI in 4K.

Q: 9. what's difference between this and Paterson 4 x 5 Sheet Film Developing Tank with Reel?

A: Thus reply may not be helpful, but I will try -- Paterson tanks have interchangable parts. Between the parts you will need to buy and those you may already have, for 4x5 you will need a tall tank, a long center tube, and a 4x5 holder. The holder looks vaguely like a dragon and holds up to 6 sheets. I have loaded mine with up to 4 sheets in a changing bag. The tank holds twice the developer of a short tank (which is for one 120 roll of film.) If you have two 120 spools, you can develop two 120 rolls. instead of the 4x5 sheets.Other parts: a funnel to make the tank light tight, a tank top to keep the fluids in place, and a twist part to allow agitation. These are the same for small or large tanks and come with the tank.l

Q: 10. is this light tight without the rubberized cover? i.e. just the funnel thing in place.

A: Yes, it's light tight as long as you have the funnel set in correctly and twisted until it snaps in place.

[9 µm] I have a reel with just one channel on it, but found out it's cheaper to buy this cable and just remove the bracket from the LC side. Comes right out without cutting anything.

[11.6 lb] This unit is great and functions as both simplex and duplex feed thru panel. We are using this in our studio as part of our patch panel and video hub.

[11.6 lb] We have been using four TFS DuraTAC fiber reels for outdoor events over the past three years without any issues. Cable diameter is slightly less than competitive cables but they are more durable because they are reinforced with stainless steel armored tubing. Highly recommended!

[OpticalCON QUAD] We use this to get audio/video to the front and back of large conference rooms, works great. The cable is only as thick as a single regular XLR cable.

[Single Mode] i purchased this to run in a drop ceiling in a large building. i didn't want anything to hurt the fibre, so i wanted it armored. (I EVEN ACCIDENTALLY RAN THIS CABLE OVER WITH A SCISSOR LIFT!!) this armored cable is a beast! THIS CABLE DID NOT WORK FOR ME AT FIRST! i was sweating bullets trying to figure out what was wrong! i called their customer service and figured out quickly that they are manufactured as CROSSOVER cables. i had to pop the plastic duplex connector off one end and swap the two fiber cables. then all worked beautifully! LOVE THE PRODUCT!
