This SureFire Rapid Transition Sight Red Green Fiber Opticfeatures a fiber optic sight with multiple color options for your choice of the best setup. The 45° offset means that switching from optical to iron sights can be done without removing a hand from the weapon or making manual adjustments. It also has a durable 7075 aluminum alloy construction and features 1/2 MOA elevation and windage adjustments for getting the accuracy you need with your firearm.

It mounts directly to Picatinny rails and has a low-profile design that extends just 0.2" above the top rail, meaning it won't interfere with your primary optics or IR illuminator. It also is the same height above bore as the standard issue M4/M16A4 sights. Additionally, this sighting system is made in the USA.

Q: 4. I'm looking for a tripod to use for VR use with an Kandao Obsidian. How high can this center column extend without making a large footprint- or do you have a different model that would be more appropriate for VR use?

A: When fully extended this tripod is about 54" tall. Preferably for VR shooting you want the camera to be about eye level so it is capturing the right perspective. So if you want the vantage point (eye level view) to be from roughly 54", this would be perfect, if not I would look for a taller tripod.

Q: 5. Can you hang a Muslin background on this?

A: The Impact Pro Rapid 5 x 7' Portable Background (Chroma Green) can not be combined with more units.

Q: 8. Will my Manfrotto 500PL Quick Release Plate fit on this ball head? ((not the 501PL ))

A: The 500PL will work, but you will have to slide it into place instead of snapping in from the top.

Q: 9. Is this Q5 Quick-Release an ideal match to the Nikon 200-500mm zoom lens ? Thank you.

A: I ve not ever used with that telephoto lens. I usually use with small crane. Stability is no doubt, but its weight is more concerned.

[Fiber optic] I have owned 3 of these and they all have had extremely crisp dots especially on the green setting and stay crisp with a 3x. They hold zero well even after several thousand rounds. The cantilever mount gives you a perfect 1/3 cowitness on a M4A1 or M16A4 style rifle. They hold up well getting banged around hunting or at the range. The only downside would be the lack of a shake awake and the use of a cr2 battery. 5

[Fiber optic] When it comes to security, what good is a weapon without ALL the necessary information needed to use it properly? The SureFire weapon light illuminates any potential threat to confirm, or refute, the potential lethality of the threat in low light environments. Also, the laser helps in aim should the target be off axis from the iron sites. One cannot put a dollar value on this needed accessory! 5

[7.7 x 5 x 1.5"] First of all , the Staff at B & H were very helpful and knowledgeable about the product . Thank you B & H Photo ! As for the weapon light , well , it’s a Surefire . Quality product throughout . Very intuitive . The green laser does not get washed out in the bright 1000 lumen light , even in daylight . Solid product from Surefire and sold by a Authorized Surefire Dealer ! 5

[1/2 MOA] The Vortex Strikefire II is an amazing green/red dot system. It has two lower settings for night-vision compatibility. I find the green easier to view due to an astigmatism. Vortex really makes some great products and the warranty is top notch. You really can't go wrong with their optics, whether a red dot, scope, or a pair of binos. You won't regret your purchase one bit, I know I don't. 5

[45°] Construction is solid but thats why you pay top dollar.The green laser is bright and almost looks blue the color draws your eyes instanley.The only dinng would be it is a tight fit on HK & SIG but it works, Glock no prob.Overall great Light Laser combo 500 lumens & Green Laser cant go wrong 5

[Fiber optic] Purchased this for a HK VP9SK. Unfortunately the VP9 just doesn’t have enough rail to hang on solidly....IMHO. It catches the rail but with running & gunning, it might be problem. It does fit perfectly on a Sig carry however and of course on other railed guns. The light itself is superb. Does Surefire make a bad product? Bright white light and laser (gn) can be seen a very long distance. Quick release is soooo nice. B&H completed the order quickly and received it in solid packaging. Their price was the lowest I found, which is always a plus. Bottom line: You work hard, you live once, so get the best. If you’re even considering this expensive piece of kit, then you’re a quality conscious person. Take the plunge for the upgrade that you worked hard for and now deserve. You won’t regret it. 5

[1/2 MOA] I have been running this optic since 2014 on multiple AR platforms. It has been banged, dinged and scratched during training. It has always held a zero and no cracked glass. Battery life has been great with it as well. 5
