[30 AWG] Apple does not provide a path to using their older DVI monitors with newer computers. Many of these monitors work perfectly and should not go to landfills. This adapter works perfectly to connect our household's 2017 MBP and new Apple Silicon MBA to our 23 Cinema HD monitor. 5

[30 AWG] It allows me to use a large flat panel monitor to watch movies stored on my laptop when traveling. Many laptops no longer have a HDMI or VGA output. Mine like many now only have a display port. This is a simple and cheap means to achieve a bridge to HDMI.
