The Electro-Voice ETX-10P Portable Powered Loudspeakerfrom Electro-Voice ETX-10P Portable Powered Loudspeakeris a portable powered Class-D loudspeaker that can be used as a floor monitor, mounted on a tripod, or suspended from the ceiling. It is capable of up to 2,000-watts of output for a peak SPL rating of up to 134dB and features a 10-inch woofer and a 1.25-inch titanium high-frequency driver. The speaker's integrated DSP can be controlled via the rear panel LCD as provides EQ, boundary compensation, a limiting function, delay, and more.

Featuring Electro-Voice's SST waveguide, the EXT-10P has a uniform beamwidth, allowing for even distribution of sound thanks to the time-alignment of the high and low-frequency transducers. Sturdy construction is provided in the form of the die-cast aluminum chassis, pole cup, and handles.

The waveguide is placed forward in the enclosure to help physically time-align the LF and HF transducers, minimizing the need for latency correction via DSP

A: Yes, the Voice Technologies VT610TC125 Earphone with Coiled Tube could be used with a 3.5mm headphone jack output on a device such as a laptop. Because the connection on the VT610TC125 is Mono/TS and laptop headphone outputs are usually Stereo/TRS, the earphone may only output one side of the signal, or may sum the headphone output to mono.

Q: 7. How does it sound when you use the 3.5mm jack to record with a cavalier microphone?

A: You can connect a clip on mic to the 3.5mm jack, for more isolated dialog. You would get less background sound with a lavalier microphone.

[Active] This is an amazing loudspeaker. It's well-built, rugged and easy to handle. We purchased this to replace a speaker in a school gym; the sound quality and clarity and unmatched. Be aware of the connecter ports look similar to XLRs, but are in fact Speakon NL4FC Ports; they can be easily refitted with XLR is needed. 5

[0.8 to 1.6 A ] I've been a JBL person for many years, but I must say that putting this speaker next to my JBl JRX112M (the same speaker configuration), blew me away. I never thought JBL could be surpassed. I was wrong. This EV speaker did it. As a pro musician for many years, I rate this at the top 3 speakers in it's class, if not the top of the heap. I love the light weight for transporting, as I have to move my equipment 5 nights per week in Las Vegas. The sound reproduction is great. It actually put out more volume at the same mixer setting than the JBL. There are two things I would like to see changed. The handles should be on top (as the JBL), not on the sides. This will make the speaker easier to grab and load into a vehicle, instead of bending over and reaching for the handle on the side. Another change I would like to see, is that the cabinet would have both Speakon and 1/4 inputs, as some mixers don't have Speakon outputs, therefore requiring you to buy an adaptor. The JBL has both Speakon and 1/4 inputs. Otherwise, this speaker is an excellent choice... 5

[2000 W ] Needed a portable PA setup for our library programming needs. We do a lot of programs out in wide open spaces like our front lawn and parking lots, so we needed a setup that would accommodate. Enter the EV ZLX 12 connected to a R0DE Wireless Go 2! Not only does it serve the purpose, but handles it with ease making it simple for staff to setup without the help of I.T. Staff report that it's plenty loud (only half volume), but clear too! Ours is going on nearly 3 years strong, & 2 drops from 3 feet high! These are tanks, and will serve the purpose long after we think to replace it. Also B&H Photo are rockstars in getting it us quickly, and in one piece! 5
