The i-Coustics HX-Mi TRRS Mic & Headphone Cable for Smartphones & Tablets from Azden is a Y cable designed to make an Azden TRRS microphone compatible with various mobile devices. It can be used by plugging a microphone into the HX-Mi mic input and attaching the cable to the microphone/headphone jack of your device. Plug your headphones into the headphone input of the cable to listen to recordings.

The Y cable works with any device that has a TRRS jack, including iPhone 3, 4 and 5, iPad (3rd generation and newer), Samsung Galaxy S 3, 4 and 5, Galaxy Tab 3, and most Android devices. [6.5" (16.5 cm)] I use an exact duplicate of this unit (since B&H is prohibited to ship it to the Philippines) which I purchased in Hong Kong. In fairness to B&H, I will not mention the brand nor the purchase price. This unit is superb and I have tried more expensive headphone amps. Combined with the Apple IPOD Dock (with remote), you can kiss your full-size system and speakers good-bye. With the volume turned only to less than 1/4, you can drive high Ohm units such as the Senheisser HD800 unit or similar reference grade units, with ease. This amplifier is built like a tank and was designed to take abuse and rough handling because of the investment-cast metal housing and moreover, it will give you hours of distortion-free qualitative listening. It can take a plug-in 5 to 15 volt adapter or two AA size batteries, but I do recommend getting the lithium types to surpass the specified 8 hours of listening. If you buy one you will not regret it. It will surely last you for years!

[6.5" (16.5 cm)] With the Azden 105ULH system I now have the capability to have 2 lapel mics. I intend to use these with video recording of my family trip to europe this summer. I use the single all the time and it works beautifully.

[6.5" (16.5 cm)] This adapter eliminates having to unplug my lapel mic after recording a take to plug in my headphone and check the audio. It DOES NOT allow me to monitor audio DURING the recording (at least on my Samsung phone), but I can now check my audio immediately afterwards while leaving all my connections intact.

[6.5" (16.5 cm)] I work in audio post-production at a facility in NYC, and I just recently purchased a pair of AKG open headphones for doing pre-mix work outside of my studio. Of course with them being 60-something ohms of resistance, I knew I was going to need an amp to keep them happy, and to keep me happy. Almost all of our recording equipment for field recording is from sound devices; I love this company. The build, quality, and durability of their equipment is always at the top of the line. Same thing goes for this headphone amp. I never plan to use this thing outdoors, but I actually only power it with batteries because the power supply is an additional purchase. (However they do come with the DC terminal into their box if you want to do a little work yourself and wire up a DC converter) Very linear response, virtually no noise floor unless I jack the level up above 80% (which I never need to do anyway), and the best part is it really lets my headphones shine. If you require headphones and plan to do serious mix work PLEASE do not expect to get good results coming straight out of the laptop's 1/8 output; not only will it not be loud enough in most cases, but there is just not enough power to allow a high resistance pair of headphones to be at their best.

[0.09 lb] Driving three Sennheiser headphones (2x HD 212 Pro and 1x HD 280 Pro) at the same time - from a 302 mixer by SD - never went above a 9 o'clock setting on the output controls. The XLR line inputs are great! The options of 3.5mm or 1/4 input (headphone-wise) makes it very flexible. The battery life is excellent: 4 days in a row of continuous location shooting before having to change them. Can't beat that! ...and there is lots of Ooomph on all outputs

[0.09 lb] The lavalier mic that came with the Azden Pro Video Mic System was an Omni and it picked up sound from all directions. Now there is a uni mic that excludes unwanted side and back noise.

[6.5" (16.5 cm)] This is a great sounding, battery operated unit that is built like a tank. It is in the same league with the other top notch Sound Devices products. Even if a bit pricey, it is worth the money. No regrets at all with this purchase.

[6.5" (16.5 cm)] This headphone amplifer not only provides 3 headphones outputs, but provide powerful drive as well as prestige sound quality. I can share my audio editing with others with different prefered level. Or I can switch repadily with different style headphones with the same SPL by setting individual levels. Great little tool and very good power consumption.
