A: No, the wheels are permanently attached to the base plate. We do have other 12 RU racks available in stock without wheels that are in the same price range such as the Middle Atlantic RK12 RK Series Rack (B&H # MIRK12) which is constructed with black laminate MDF, the Odyssey Innovative Designs CRS12 Carpeted Studio Rack (B&H # ODCRS12) has a carpeted exterior, and the Gator Cases GR-STUDIO12U 12 RU Studio Rack Cabinet (B&H # GAGRS12) is made of laminated MDF.

Q: 2. Is assembly required?

A: The VideoMount EREN-18E is a steel welded rack and will ship fully assembled.

Q: 3. What's the exact height of the cabinet without the wheels attached? 23.5 inches?

A: The exact height of the Auray ERS-12U Steel Equipment Rack is 27.6" without the 3" diameter wheels attached.

Q: 4. Will this hold the weight of an Audio Technica 2500 microphone?

A: I mount GoPro cameras to one of these and use it in an airplane and it never budges, so I would think that it would hold a 13oz microphone with no problem.

Q: 5. I need replacement foam for a Zero Haliburton case, @ 18" x 13" x 5". Do you sell it?

A: We do not.

Q: 6. What is the weight capacity of the top? Can I place an 80lbs BVM/PVM without worries?

A: The Auray ERS-12U can handle loads of up to 440 pounds. That would include the weight of the gear mounted inside the rack and any gear placed on top.

Q: 7. does it come with any racks?

A: The Video Mount Products 19 Equipment Rack Enclosure comes with 18-space rails threaded with standard 10-32 threading.

Q: 8. Is there a higher version of the rack stand?

A: This is the tallest rack of this type we have.

Q: 9. what are the dimensions and thread sizes?

A: It is 19 long. Thread size is what is considered microphone standard: 3/8 .

Q: 10. Does this require those synology branded drives or can I still use exos drives?

A: Synology lists several third-party, non-Synology drives on their website that are compatible with the Synology RackStation RS4021xs+ 16-Bay NAS Enclosure. Drives that are not on the list will not work.

[16" / 40.64 cm] I like these little guys - we install most of our equipment inside crednezas - so these are extremely well ventilated (especially if you use slotted type shelves, very easy to move around and fit well into standard conference room credenza. No complaints You do need to attach the shelving units mounting gear - but doesnt take too long and you get faster as you go. Im more a fan of these type racks over the heavy duty will survive WWIII standard racks from past - these are nimble and airy and fit better with modern AV equipment in my opinion 5

[10-32] I needed a rack bag that was more shallow than most to fit a 2 space EQ and an effects processor. Both units were not more than 9 in depth.This BR408 bag is just the right size, well made and has a removable shell if you just want to set it nearby without the bag. Very cool.Delivery was a bit too long for a drop ship. Sometimes orders get bundled and have to wait at one end or the other or a bill wasn't paid on time so the manufacturer holds the order or orders and the end user waits. Oh well. 5

[79 lb] This case is well-built and sturdy. It has removable rubber feet on the bottom which might not last long on the road! My biggest issue was delivery time; this thing took MONTHS to show up. This was no fault of B&H but the manufacturer was WAY slow. 5

[16" / 40.64 cm] I just got this rack bag in and am impressed with the solid build and workmanship. I believe I saw Made in USA on the label, which is always nice. With all cases of this style one has to be mindful of the zippers, which always seem to fail before the rest of the bag does. I can't comment on durability or longevity of the zippers this manufacturer uses - yet - but they look pretty robust, so we shall see. The padding isn't super thick, probably a half inch, but I don't plan on throwing the gear around either. The rack insert is removable and the bag is built well enough that removal and reinsertion of it is done easily, without a struggle. Keep in mind, this is only an 8 inch deep unit which is fine for my purposes. 5
