A: Yes, you could use this Teleprompter with a tripod that has a 502HD head. The 502HD has a 15.4 pound load capacity. This prompter weighs 6.7 pounds before adding an iPad and Camera, so you have plenty of room left to add those. The Prompter has standard tripod connections under it.

Q: 6. I can't find the elite prompter app on Google Play Store. Is there one?

A: Our Elite Prompter Software is only for iOS. You would have to get a third party app to use Android.

Q: 7. Can this be used with a Sony FS700?

A: Yes, you can use the Sony FS700 on this Teleprompter. The camera baseplate includes a riser that allows the teleprompter to adapt to a variety of cameras from DSLRs to larger form models such as the FS700.

Q: 8. My tablet is a Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 . Will that extra .2 prevent it from fitting properly on tablet platform?

A: The PT-ELITE-UL supports tablets up to 9 x 12 in. The Galaxy Note Pro 12.2s dimensions are 11.64 x 8.03 so it is within the dimensions and should fit no problem. This because the screen size is measured diagonally, which is of course longer than the length and width.

Q: 9. Does this come with a carrying case?

A: You can lay the components on a table and figure how built up you wish to transport it. Then measure the layout figuring 3' of padding around the most delicate parts. Come back to us with those dimensions and we can get you a hard or soft case for it.

Q: 10. This item look like it is for smartphone and not DSLR. Is that true?

A: It is designed to accommodate small DSLR cameras and Smartphones.

[0.9 lb] This is a really easy to read teleprompter. I've been in newscasting for 20 years, and have used a variety of prompters, but I find this one extremely user-friendly. The only trouble we have had has been with the remote. It seems to stick a little bit. But other than that, I do recommend this equipment! 5

[0.9 lb] This teleprompter is very well designed, and of course, it works as intended. There are two issues to note, however:1. The specs state that this teleprompter can support a tablet up to 12 x 9.Neither number is accurate. The spread on the horizontal is more like 12.25, while the spread on the vertical is less than 8.25, and has the further limitation that these brackets are bent in to keep the tablet in place. This is a good idea, but it further limits the size of the tablet which will fit. Also, the folks at the shop are very nice, but getting this issue addressed has not been real easy.2. The specs on B&H and on the company website misidentify the applicable SKB case. They identify SKB 1914-8. This case has an internal dimension of 19 x 14 x 8. However, the foam insert supplied, which is another great idea, is cut at 19 x 14.5 x 6. Thus, the correct case is the SKB 1914N-8. I believe the N signifies no wheels, but that is a guess. In any event the internal dimensions of this case are 19 x 14.5, so the foam fits. Unfortunately, you still have to deal with the extra two inches of height in the lid, and SKB charges $$for the foam set.These guys are trying very hard to put out a leading product. They just need to iron out a few details, and they will be there. 5
