The MeFOTO SideKick360 Smartphone Tripod Adapter Orangein orange is a support for 2.3 to 2.8" wide smartphones that provides stability and allows for enhanced creative control over photos and videos shot with the phone's built-in camera. The aluminum Arca-Swiss style quick-release base works with full-size tripods and any Arca-Swiss style quick-release clamp. The adapter is equipped with three 1/4"-20 threads and one 3/8"-16 thread, allowing it to be mounted to a variety of quick-release plates, monopods, and handles. The flexible ball joint allows for 360-degree rotation, so you can situate your phone in either portrait or landscape mode, and the flat base allows it to be used by itself as a stand.

Easy to stuff into my carry on luggage and it is still lightweight.

[0.35 lb] There are a zillion things out there to hold an iPhone. I can't say which is best, but I can say that I really like this one. It's stable enough to let the phone rest on a flat surface, it has tapped holes so it can be screwed to a tripod/monopod and the base is designed to fit with certain quick-release plates (I'm using it with a Kessler QR) How can you possibly go wrong? As is obvious, it can hold the iPhone vertical or horizontal or any angle in-between. The phone grip goes into a tiny ball head so you can tilt the iPhone left/right/up/down and the ball socket is slotted so you can tilt the rig up 90 degrees (so it's parallel to the base.) So, lots of options to mount it, lots of options to position the phone. You can do hands-free face time calls, you can do your video blog, you can lots of things with it. 5

[Rotation: 360°] Have owned 4-5 of these MeFoto adapters and they are the best of the best. Have used other brands when forgetting the MeFoto in studio, nothing compares to the sturdiness, ease of use, quick mount and unmount, as this tripod adapter. 5

[0.35 lb] I have been using this for tabletop timelapse video and it works great. It holds the phone tightly and securely and the ball head allows me to get the phone into the perfect position. I would highly recommend it. 5
