This is designed for one specific purpose: it takes a low-level phono signal from a turntable, and increases the gain (by a specified, non-adjustable amount) while adding a specified (RIAA) equalization curve.What aren't you just looking at microphone preamps and mic-related products?

[3.225 lb] I absolutely love my Pyle PLPTS35 Laptop stand. The fact that it was foldable with a carrying case was a plus. The stand itself is made of high strength materials made to with stand the beating it will take moving it from gig to gig. The price point will not disappoint either and B&H Photo had it shipped in 2 days. Thanks Pyle and B&H. 5

[3.225 lb] I broadcast from a studio most days, but for 90 days a year, I'm on the road. Always have trouble with setting up my laptop and mixer in remote locations so this is a perfect solution. First, the stand collapses and fits in my hardshell carrying case. When I arrive, simply unfold it and set it up. My laptop goes on top and my mixer sits easily underneath it. Back at the hotel room, I can do the same to free up valuable desk space for a keyboard and beverage. The only downside to this product is the weight. Seems silly to be talking about how heavy it is when I'm asking it to hold such a costly investment... Bottom line: I'll probably get another one soon! 5

[3.225 lb] Many of these laptop stands don't provide clearance to have equipment underneath. This provides plenty of clearance for a mixer and the accessory shelf is a nice add-on. 5

[3.225 lb] Portable and sturdy! As a Mobil DJ, that’s what I wanted. Love how it pivots and the height is good. I have it on top of my odessey case for for pioneer DJ 1000. My old laptop stand was too heavy and not portable like this one is. My laptop fits nicely in this unit. It also has the option to make it wider I guess that’s for if you have a 17” laptop. Mine is 15”s and fits fine. 5
