Q: 8. how deep does the border have to be to hide the corner?

A: Response 5524628 is correct. The plastic edge that holds the piece is 5/16th of an inch. As long as you leave more of a border than that you'll be fine.

Q: 9. Are these .625 photo corners hard plastic or soft and flexible?

A: Soft and flexible. However, it's rather putsy and time consuming to separate the plastic flaps to slide the paper corner into. Not sure I would buy these again. There are others out there with a runway to more easily slip the corners into.

Q: 10. Has anyone used this tissue to lay on top of a fine art paper, then rolled it? Would this tissue cause any scuffing of the fine art paper or image area when delicately rolled? Thanks!

A: When using the Archival Methods 16 x 20" Buffered Archival Tissue Papers, gently rolling the art work with the tissue paper on top will not cause any scuffing, as long as the "fine art paper" is dry.

[1.45 lb] Exactly as advertised, though the packaging is not so good. You will need to transfer to another bag, box, folder, or something to hold them instead of the lightweight cellophane they are wrapped in

[1.45 lb] Buffered tissue is available in a variety of sizes and from a variety of sources. Unbuffered tissue has become difficult to find and is a must for images that can fade when placed in contact with an alkaline material. I use this with my cyanotypes and color photographs.

[1.45 lb] I typically print images in one session, meaning I do all of the printing that I have to do in a continuous manner. The interleaving paper is a godsend in that I remove the image from the printer, and just before the next image comes out (a few minutes because I print using the highest density possible), I place a sheet of interleaving over the image and stack the newest image on top. I've never had one bit of trouble with the product and can't print without placing the product between images.

[1.45 lb] hard to find, but very useful in archiving pen & ink with watercolor pieces. We use this unbuffered paper and buffered boxes.

[1.45 lb] I always let my digital prints dry for 48 hours before I package them up and send them to buyers. After the first few hours, I put one of these tissue papers on top so the prints don't get any dust on them. I just weight the tissue down on the top and bottom edges a tad with whatever I have handy in my studio (little decorative stones, usually ha ha) so they don't float away. Works great. And I use the tissue in between prints when storing them.
