The 70342 Cinema Contour Fixed Frame Screen by Da-Lite has a 110 x 176" viewing area, 16:10 aspect ratio, and 208" diagonal.

The High Contrast Cinema Perf viewing surface offers a 100° total viewing angle (50° half angle) and a gain of 1.1. It is a perforated vinyl surface that allows for the installation of speakers behind the surface. It features a gray base for deeper reproductions of black, which improves contrast, and an increased reflectivity to enhance brightness where a moderate level of ambient light is present. It is suitable for video images. High Contrast Cinema Perf can be cleaned with mild soap and water, and is flame-retardant and mildew-resistant. It is also GREENGUARD GOLD Certified. Black backing on the back of the viewing surface prevents light bleed-through.

The aluminum frame is 3” wide by 1.63” and is covered with black Pro-Trim fabric, which absorbs excess light around the viewing area. The frame is slip-jointed at corners and joints. The screen also includes standard wall-mounting brackets.

A: The optical slave in this monolight can be switched off.

Q: 5. Is the mount size compatible with light shaping accessories from the BRX line?

A: I believe so! The elincrhom heads are all the same size, so it should fit without any problem.

Q: 6. Will D-Lite 400W/s Flash Heads connect with pocketwizard TT5 transceivers?

A: I would have to say yes. Just for the fact I do have this light and I use the pocket wizards on them. The TT 5, since it is a transceiver will transmit the signal to the light and allow it to activate, all you have to do is connect the cords from the transceiver to the light.I have not done it myself with the TT 5, but I am sure it will work. There should be connecting cords that came with the TT 5, if not B & H photo has them on stock. Just ask anyone in the lighting department and they will direct you to the proper cord that you will need to make things work. Let me know if this information helps you.

A: Yes, the power can be controlled by the Skyport Transmitter.

A: Yes it Does but is really flimsy/bad design

A: You may be able to purchase an external power pack for these lights but this kit as it comes requiresyou to plug it in to a power outlet.

[100°] After correspondence with B&H on product lines and availability , I selected the cinema contour to marry up with the projector specifications that were needed. It also worked well with the acoustic demands of the in wall speakers hidden behind it . The result was spot on. Excellent price coupled with exceptional performance. B&H got the job done. [124 x 12 x 10"] Assembly for very straight forward. Looks great on the wall. Really like the velour wrap around the frame. It does a very good job of rejecting light back onto the screen. Because of the size, (110 inch) I decided to put up a folding screen to cover it when not in use. 5

[16:10] I use it in a classroom at a university. It's got a great surface, brilliant white, big and more than I expected. It looks like a big LCD screen on the wall, way cool. 5

[16:10] This is my fourth ALR (ambient light reflecting) screen. The first thing to know is, there are no miracle screens. There are good ALR screens, but none perform miracles. Even the best don't show a great picture in a really bright room. The second thing to know is, don't necessarily believe the promotional pictures and videos from manufacturers that show amazing screen performance. They have positioned the screens, projectors and cameras to show the screens at their very best. You are unlikely to duplicate this in a real world situation. Almost all ALR screens have, to one extent or another, a major problem – screen artifacts. Shimmering, hot spots, sparkles, grainy appearance and so on. In order to eliminate this problem I have owned four different screens. My newest one, which wasn't available when I first started my quest for better picture quality, the Da-Lite Parallax, has none of these problems. Zero! The Parallax probably doesn't have quite as good of ambient light rejection properties as some of the other screens, but with some light control and careful placement of light sources, you can still have light in the room and a great picture. A great artifact free picture is really important now that we have 4K material to watch. 5
