The 70343 Cinema Contour Fixed Frame Screen by Da-Lite has a 110 x 176" viewing area, 16:10 aspect ratio, and 208" diagonal.

Dual Vision is a flexible vinyl surface ideal for rear projection, but capable of both front and rear projection. It has a gain of 0.9 and 130° viewing angle. It is suitable for video projection under controlled ambient light conditions. With a wide viewing cone and light gray tint, a sharp image with no color shift is observed regardless of location in the room. This seamless surface can be cleaned with mild soap and water, and is flame-retardant and mildew-resistant. This surface has also achieved GREENGUARD GOLD Certification..

The aluminum frame is 3” wide by 1.63” and is covered with black Pro-Trim fabric, which absorbs excess light around the viewing area. The frame is slip-jointed at corners and joints. The screen also includes standard wall-mounting brackets.

Q: 1. Can the optic slave function be turned on and off? I want to use this light kit in a place where we will have 3 portrait stations in an open area near by and don't want other portrait stations setting off this set.

A: The optical slave in this monolight can be switched off.

Q: 2. Hi. What is the GN for this strobe? I am looking to get a few for studio assignments which requires F8-F13 apertures.? I have a phottix Luna beauty dish i wish to mount on this strobe, is there a mount converter for it? what is the syn cable supplied: 3.5mm - PC? I'm using a pentax K3 so will have to sync using cable with RF603CII, will it work? Thanks in advance.

A: I don't remember the GN off hand, but it will most definitely handle the apertures you are mentioning. It's very powerful! You can get conversion mounts for it either at b&h or most definitely amazon. the sync cable supplied is what you also mentioned. but I'm not sure about the rf603cII. I use radio remote triggers (pocket wizards)

Q: 3. Will these lights work with the slave function if I fire a Phottix Indra 500 as my main light?

A: These lights do have an optical slave unit in each, so you can trigger them in line of sight with the Indra 500 as the master flash.

Q: 4. Can you use a canon st e3 rt trigger to fire the strobes? Also is this alot more powerful than a 600 rt?

A: Most speed-lights are no more than 65 watts. The D-Lite RX One is 100 watts. It is around double the power. It does not work with the Canon ST-E3-RT Speedlite Transmitter. The built in receiver works with the Elinchrom - EL-Skyport Transmitter Plus and the Elinchrom EL-Skyport Transmitter Pro.

Q: 5. Will D-Lite 400W/s Flash Heads connect with pocketwizard TT5 transceivers?

A: I would have to say yes. Just for the fact I do have this light and I use the pocket wizards on them. The TT 5, since it is a transceiver will transmit the signal to the light and allow it to activate, all you have to do is connect the cords from the transceiver to the light.I have not done it myself with the TT 5, but I am sure it will work. There should be connecting cords that came with the TT 5, if not B & H photo has them on stock. Just ask anyone in the lighting department and they will direct you to the proper cord that you will need to make things work. Let me know if this information helps you.

Q: 6. Hi, is this item has a Shown reflector?

A: Although the reflector is not included, you can purchase the Elinchrom Wide Angle, Umbrella Reflector, 6-1/3", 95 Degrees, for Elinchrom Flash Heads, B&H # ELR6 to work with this light. https://bhpho.to/2JWyZvd

A: As long as that camera has a spot for an external flash to attach or plug in.

Q: 8. Can these be used as continuous light as well?

A: The Dlite has a modeling light but it would not be a recommended use of it to be used for video.

[80 lb (36 kg)] This is my fourth ALR (ambient light reflecting) screen. The first thing to know is, there are no miracle screens. There are good ALR screens, but none perform miracles. Even the best don't show a great picture in a really bright room. The second thing to know is, don't necessarily believe the promotional pictures and videos from manufacturers that show amazing screen performance. They have positioned the screens, projectors and cameras to show the screens at their very best. You are unlikely to duplicate this in a real world situation. Almost all ALR screens have, to one extent or another, a major problem – screen artifacts. Shimmering, hot spots, sparkles, grainy appearance and so on. In order to eliminate this problem I have owned four different screens. My newest one, which wasn't available when I first started my quest for better picture quality, the Da-Lite Parallax, has none of these problems. Zero! The Parallax probably doesn't have quite as good of ambient light rejection properties as some of the other screens, but with some light control and careful placement of light sources, you can still have light in the room and a great picture. A great artifact free picture is really important now that we have 4K material to watch. 5

[16:10] Assembly for very straight forward. Looks great on the wall. Really like the velour wrap around the frame. It does a very good job of rejecting light back onto the screen. Because of the size, (110 inch) I decided to put up a folding screen to cover it when not in use. 5

[Dual Vision] After correspondence with B&H on product lines and availability , I selected the cinema contour to marry up with the projector specifications that were needed. It also worked well with the acoustic demands of the in wall speakers hidden behind it . The result was spot on. Excellent price coupled with exceptional performance. B&H got the job done. Pro service for pro contractors. 5

[80 lb] I use it in a classroom at a university. It's got a great surface, brilliant white, big and more than I expected. It looks like a big LCD screen on the wall, way cool. 5

[130°] An elegant screen. Easy to put together and hang. I purchased the 110 inch which did not require both upper wall brackets and only had one bottom frame bracket with fillister screw (was supposed to have 2) which also was sufficient. Lots of complements. Would highly recommend this product. 5
