A: I use it to mount my Canon and non-Canon EF lenses on my Canon M3 and it works just fine for that purpose. Should work just fine on your M50 too, which has the same mount as my M3. The adapter I got, which is about half the price of the official Canon version, has its own tripod mount that you can remove if you don't like it.

A: If the lens works OK on a Canon body with an EF mount, it should also work on your EOS M body. i don't have any Yongnuo lenses but I do use this adapter with Sigma, Tamron, and Tokina lenses with nary a problem, so I would not hesitate to buy a Yongnuo lens for use with this adapter if the need arose.

A: If your Sigma or Tamron lens has an EF or EF-S mount, no problem. I have one Tamron lens and several Sigma lenses and have no trouble. The OS (optical stabilization) feature also works just fine on Sigma lenses that have them. Can't personally vouch for the Tamron VC (vibration compensation) feature, but I don't see why that would be a problem either.

A: The adapter will work, but I wouldn't suggest this. The lens is an APS-C (Cropped) while the R5 has a full frame sensor. Thus using this lens on the R5 will cut your resolution by a large amount, potentially getting a heavy vignette. This also doesn't include AF performance and accuracy which also may vary.
