The FreeWave Viewer VL Infrared Cable for select Canon Cameras from Vello connects to your Viewer VL's transmitter, and allows the viewer to start and stop video recording on select Canon DSLR cameras. Your Canon camera must have an IR sensor and video capabilities. The cable is posable, allowing you to place the IR transmitter directly in front of the camera's IR sensor.

A: I cannot answer this question. I have Canon cameras.

Q: 2. I want to buy one more CCTV camera transmitter only. (It possible to see from 4 cameras on one monitor). How to buy?

A: You can set the Receiver to control any one of up to four cameras outfitted with Transmitters that are set up within range of the Receiver. Unfortunately, though, it does not appear as though we carry the FreeWave Viewer VL Wireless Live View Remote separately.

Q: 3. Will this work for the Canon D7 Mark II? Thanks

A: I learned too late that it does not currently work with the 7D Mk II. Previous models of the Canon cameras use a mini USB to transfer the video, but the 7D uses a micro USB. B&H said the do not currently have a cable that will fit that configuration. Kudos to B&H for prompt phone service and a full refund.

Q: 4. will this work with Canon 60D?

A: The transmitter is only going to work with the Canon 6D, 7D, 5D Mark III, & 1D Mark IV.

Q: 5. Is there any similar product for Nikon?

A: Yes, Nikn has a similar product, but much mre expensive. The Vello works perfectly with Nikon.

Q: 6. Will this work with the Nikon D4 ?

A: No, unfortunately this is not compatible with the Nikon D4 camera.

Q: 7. Will this work with a Cannon EOS 7 D ? Thanks

A: Yes, the Vello FreeWave Viewer VL Wireless Live View Remote Kit with AV/Shutter & Infrared Cables for Select Canon Cameras is compatible with the Canon 7d. It might not allow all features depending on the camera setting.

Q: 8. will it work on a Nikon D7000?

A: Providing the kit has a VEVCN 10 cable it will work on the D7000.A VEVCN 20 works on the D500.Thanks.

Q: 9. does it come with the np-60 battery charger?

A: The Vello FreeWave Viewer VL Wireless Live View Remote includes an AC USB wall adapter and a USB cable. The batteries are charged while in the unit. The transmitter and receiver are charged separately.

Q: 10. Will this work on a Canon 5DSr?

A: Yes, the Vello FreeWave Viewer VL Wireless Live View Remote Kit with AV/Shutter & Infrared Cables for Select Canon Cameras can be used with the Canon EOS 5DSR.

[8.5" (21.6 cm)] Just got it out of the box to test it out and discovered that an additional cable was needed to make it compatible with my NIKON 3100. Got the cable (rcc-n2) and it works great! Haven't put the range to the test yet though, but I will soon! 5

[8.5" (21.6 cm)] What can you say, it's a cable. I originally bought the Vello viewer for a Canon 5D Mark II but then I had a real need for it on my Canon 7D, but the original cable would not work. Being able to buy just the cable and not the whole viewer again saved a lot of money and room in a bag. Thanks to Vello for making a simple option to expand the viewers use and to B&H for carrying it 5

[0.04 lb] This gives you TTL capability with a remote flash. I use these triggers with Canon flashes and have had no problems. I have not tried with non-Canon flashes so cannot comment on that. Works as advertised, easy to set up, easy to use. Battery life seems good - I have used these triggers several times and am still using the original batteries that came with the triggers. 5

[0.04 lb] This works great as a reference viewer when taping yourself alone (selfie mode), or if you want to see the framing of what is being recorded while you are in front of the camera. And this is especially helpful if your camera's lcd screen doesn't swivel around. This is the case with a lot of the Sony's or other brands that have screens that just tilt up. I find this accessory a great pairing with my Sony A73 with a screen that only flips up. The mirror is big enough to keep an eye on the framing and what is happening in the background. Fits right on the cold shoe of the camera and works just as advertised. Another nice feature is this has cold shoes on all three sides so I can now add even more accessories attachments, like a small light or small mic, which is great.
