A: I'm not sure what the customer is really asking but it sounds like they want to plug in the adaptor to the DC in receiver port on the Sony Camcorder...on the model I have it's clearly marked as DC IN on the camera and I just plugged it in and plugged in the power cord to a 120V AC outlet on the wall. It's been a great product as an after market adaptor as a replacement for the original Sony which quit after 3 years of service.
