Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. If I were to use this in line with the MX41 as an input to increase inputs to the monitor, would the signal from the mx41b come through ?

A: To begin with, I'm confused with your question, as you refer to an MX41, and an mx41b. Presuming that you mean the Rolls MX41B in both instances, then I am further confused by your question about whether the signal from it would come through. The more clearly you state your question, the better the rest of us can understand and offer help. That being said, there should be no problem to take the output from the MX41B into either the line input or instrument input of the Rolls PM351 and hear all the inputs from both units mixed together on the output of the PM351. It has lots of range and volume available, and is a great, clean headphone amp/mixer/direct box. You will want to pay attention to your stereo and mono cables, as well as the stereo/mono jumpers on the PM351, so you know what you are actually listening to. The MX41B is stereo, so I don't know what happens when you put a mono cable into it... it may only appear on one side of the output. Stereo/mono on the PM351 is selectable with two jumpers. Careful with those jumpers, though, they are black and small and easily lost. The quarter-inches are all unbalanced, too, so don't run those cables more than about 10 feet if you can help it. The XLR's are fine for any length, of course.Hope that helps.rcarbaugh

Q: 2. Can the pm351 pass through phantom power for a mic like SM7B + Cloudlifter?

A: This unit does not provide phantom power.

Q: 3. Do these knobs come with 6mm or 8mm couplings, or neither?

A: The knobs are the same size that came with the Vixen AP, GP2, and GPD2 Mounts originally.

Q: 4. Could I run a stereo signal into this box & send that same stereo out, but allow headphone monitoring of the signal?

A: Yes, this box has a 1/4-inch input that can be switched to stereo, and has a left and right XLR line level outputs, as well as a headphone jack.

Q: 5. Are these with 6mm or 8mm couplings, or neither?

A: The Vixen Optics Slow Motion Control Knob for AP, GP2, and GPD2 Mounts is a replacement knob for those mounts. The knobs mount on a shaft that is roughly 6mm in diameter.

Q: 6. My mixer aux outs are XLR-M, not 1/4". So how do I send the PM351 the monitor output signal? Adapter cable of some sort?

A: If you need to connect a single XLR output from your mixer to the 1/4" TRS input on the Rolls PM351 Personal Monitor Station, you can use a cable like the Hosa Technology HXS-010 Balanced 3-Pin XLR Female to 1/4" TRS Male Audio Cable - 10' (B&H # HOHXS010). If you need to connect both XLR outputs from your mixer to the PM351, simply add on a Y-adapter like the Hosa Technology YXF-101.5 XLR Male to Dual XLR Female Audio Y-Cable (B&H # HOYCXM2XF18).

Q: 7. Will this work for r6 mark ii

A: Yes, the PORTKEYS LH7P 7" High-Bright Touchscreen Monitor with Wireless Control is compatible with the Canon EOS R6 Mark II there just wont be camera control features.

Q: 8. Does it have focus peaking?

A: The PORTKEYS LH7P 7" High-Bright Touchscreen Monitor with Wireless Control (Black) includes focus peaking along with many other tools to assist in shooting.

Q: 9. Will fit Meade lx70 mount?

A: This will not this is dedicated to AP, GP2, and GPD2 Mounts.

Q: 10. How long is the duct?

A: The Winsted 42757 Scored Panel Channel Wiring Management Duct is 72" long, 2" wide, and 2" high.

Set this up in 5 minutes and we had full control over headphone mix in the sound booth and monitor selects and levels in the control room. Works extremely well, very clean, and looks great on the desk.

If anyone in your band wants more me control of their in-ear foldback for both their vocals and an instrument (or two instruments), then this is THE box for them! Ok so it costs more than the 2 channel competition, but this has the essential 3rd channel the others lack, plus an integral stereo DI box, so the total cost is much the same. What is really nice is the way it can be set for mono or stereo inputs on both the instrument channel and the main foldback. The cct diagram even contains instructions to convert the mic channel for line level inputs. A really useful box, and a much better buy in real terms than the competing products, for use by real musicians!

Bought this to get wireless DMX in a small lighting rig in ceiling of an auditorium. We leave the USB charging cable attached and powered up. Battery is removable so you don’t have to worry about overcharging it. Generates its own SSID or you can assign it to an existing one. Brilliant. It can also be used for a tester of your DMX chain at any point. Comes with a free phone app. For $150 you can control an entire universe of DMX... and it fits in your pocket! I’m using Luminair with it, and it is flawless. If you disconnect power, it comes back up right where it left off.

I have 3 speakers in my office and needed a way to hook them up together seamlessly and this delivered exactly what I needed. As an editor, sound is everything and this is fantastic. Definitely would recommend purchasing

Product is used in a church setting. I was amazed at how many inputs and outputs there are. All the 1/4 ins can be stereo. The mic-through is fabulous. I have a monitor feed coming into the line in and a stereo instrument (keyboard) as instrument. I can even run it through only one ear and tune things to a very low level. It lacks EQ controls and so you can't turn down the treble, say, but I haven't missed that for my purposes. The price and quality are great!

Excellent sound for the money. There are cheaper units out there but with this I took one earbud out and what I hear from the headphone is the same as the mains.

Very clever design, easy to install, the gooseneck is sturdy and stiff. The lamps last for ever, which is great because ours stay on 24/7. Highly recommend this option for console lighting.

I paired the PM351 with Yamaha MSP-5 (5) studio monitors mounted on a custom bracket. I also tested it with in-ears. Works perfectly. Tons of gain, no noise. An added feature is the stereo instrument input and 2-channel XLR output, which can be used for 2 instruments feeding two separate channels on your sound board. You'll need to use a TRS insert cable. The only downside, which cannot be avoided in a personal monitoring station product, are all the wires coming up the mic stand, and the extra setup time that goes with it all. Another downside, is a lack of *small* powered, mic-stand mountable speakers in the market space. Most of what you'll find have multiple inputs that duplicate the Rolls functionality. You'll end up buying studio monitors and making custom brackets to stand mount it. But if you already have the speakers (like I did), and all you need is the personal monitor mixing station, then this is it!
