The black Gefen ToolBox 4x1 HDMI 4K Switcher Blackis a compact and lightweight surface-mountable HDMI switcher that allows up to four Ultra HD or 1080p sources to be routed to one Ultra HD display. The matrix supports resolutions up to 3840x2160 at 30p. Deep Color, 3DTV pass-through, and lossless audio formats such as LPCM 7.1, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD Master Audio are also supported. The switcher is ideal for home theater systems, multi-room installations, retail establishments, sports bars, schools, hospitals, lobbies, or any installation where multi-source Ultra HD HDCP-compliant content needs to be routed a display.

Connect up to four Ultra HD or HD sources to the HDMI inputs on the switcher using HDMI cables. Each HD source can be routed to the display using the front panel push-button, IR remote control, RS-232, Telnet, UDP, or web server interface. LED indicators on the top panel display the current switching status. A power supply with locking cable comes included.

[1.99 lb] I have a Pioneer krp-500m monitor, which has limited HDMI inputs and no optical output. I'm using this switch to connect a chromecast, ps4, and nintendo switch, while outputting the audio via optical to a sound bar. It works perfectly and the auto-switching is great. Even though I'm not using the HDR and 4K capabilities right now, it'll be nice to have for a future monitor and TV. 5

[5 VDC] Works great to send HD to 2 TVs over CAT5 w/Gefen baluns.Make sure to upgrade to the latest firmware to correct some issues with the original firmware that came with it. 5

[On front panel] setup was a breeze - I don't care about the 'auto' setting, so I turned it off. The only complaint I have at this point is that the status lights on the front panel are much brighter than they need to be. I haven't played with the audio options yet - this is for switching a 4K monitor between a couple of computers and (future use) one or two cameras, so audio is much less important for me 5

[5 VDC] I saw the YouTube video on this switcher, which convinced me to purchase it. The results are better than I expected I purchased this switcher to hook up a dvr/cable box, a tuner, a blu-ray player, and a vcr, to my tv (four inputs on the switcher's backside). I have a fifth input on the switcher's frontside if I should need it. The indicator light for the dvr/cable box (input one) is normally on. If I turn on any of the other device, this switcher will automatically switch. This is so nice, that I don't even have to use the switcher's remote control. 5

[1 x Mini-B] Using to switch optical signals from 4x sources into 1x input on a Benchmark DAC-1. Works flawlessly. Nice button action on the select front panel control. No clicks of pops with sticking or power. Included remote works well, but it's a little flimsy/generic type (I just use the front panel button and will be programming into a universal remote). Highly recommended! And made in the USA. 5
