Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. When I use a camera D7100 with lens 18-300mm, which weight is about 3lb, Could Oben tripod TT-50 support them?

A: The TT-50 is a small table top tripod. With the ball head in a vertical position it may be OK. If there is any pressure on the ball head, it could creep. A better choice may be the Oben TT-100 which has a removable head. See the link below. If the head cannot handle the specific situation, a more robust head can be attached.

Q: 2. what is the length of a single leg from the base?

A: Hi! It is 12 cm

Q: 3. Is it normal for humidity to jump 9% after opening the door for 10 seconds? When i open to put my gear in it, it goes up to 48% and it takes more than an hour to go back to 39%

A: According to the manufacturer, depending on the humidity levels in the area in which the Ruggard EDC-50L Electronic Dry Cabinet (50L) is housed, yes, it may be normal for the humidity to rise 9% after opening the door for 10 seconds.

Q: 4. Is there an XLR connector on the wire or will you need to solder one on?

A: The built-in XLR onnector is attached to a 6' Balanced Line Cable which would need a connector.

Q: 5. What is the diameter of the mount?

A: 50mm, just under 2 inches. Longer than most camera baseplates. Cork topped to help hold camera steadier

Q: 6. Can this unit handle a Nikon D 90, or 7000 without tripping or falling over?

A: I just own the D500. Yes it can handle the d500 + the heavy Nikon 24-70 provided you set it up properly i.e. one leg in the direction of the lens

Q: 7. can this be used in a drive up movie set up through car radio's?

A: This transmitter will not work with car radios.

Q: 8. Can the TT-200 be converted to the TT-100 ball head configuration?

A: Yes, it can convert down to the TT-100 configuration.

Q: 9. The Ruggard EDC-230L appears to have LED lighting inside the cabinet. Question: Can the internal LED lighting be turned off? Also, can your stored DSLR cameras include their batteries or should the batteries be separately stored in the cabinet?

A: Unfortunately, the interior lighting on the EDC-230L cannot be turned off. As for storing the batteries, they should be stored outside the camera.

Q: 10. Can I place this under my desk, and against a wall? Or does it need space to breathe?

A: According to the manual; Do not place the rear of the cabinet directly against a wall or other surface, this may reduce the operational efficiency.

[Wood] It was easy to put together and is very sturdy. The color and finish was exactly what I wanted. It is heavy, but not so much that I can't move it around.

[Yes] As an industry based instructor this lectern is perfect.  Not to big that over powers my presences, which steals the show, and large enough to hold my book of lesson plans.

[Yes] We use this lectern as a prop mainly for our video production class, but it seems like a good podium in general. Lecterns are very expensive, and this is the cheapest one I could find after days of looking. Great deal.

[2] It's a fine lectern, portable and easily adjustable -- good looking too. One of the feet had a hole drilled slightly off kilter, and I stripped a bolt trying to make it fit. Oklahoma Sound quickly replaced everything. The best products sometimes have defects; the best companies fix them fast!

[2] Exactly what I was looking for.

The three pieces are only held together by 4 screws at the top and 4 at the bottom. So lift carefully if transporting.
