[0.25 lb] Was looking for a long plate that would mount to the base of my Linhof Technikardan 45. The TK has two 3/8-16 holes, and since monorails are long (lots of leverage) I wanted a plate to wouldn't twist. The two screws are perfectly placed that I can mount both of them (the are 1/4-20 so I needed two tiny adapters for a couple bucks, but now I have a AS mount that runs almost the entire length of the collapsted base rail of the TK45. 5

[0.25 lb] My lens plate was too short to balance on my Gimbal head. This plate allows me to position the camera and lens so it will balance perfectly. Easy to reposition as I extend my lens from 150mm to 600mm. 5

[1x 3/8"-16 Male] It's a perfect fit for my Leica MP. The base plate fits the camera so it does not move when mounted on the tripod. Only thing I can think of as a possible improvement is the fastning screw, which needs a tool. It would have been nice to have one that could be fastened using only your hand. 5

[0.25 lb] I needed a base plate for my Leica MA 127 and ordered this product. It fits perfectly on the camera and works with my Acratech ballhead. The length of the plate extends to about 75% of the bottom of the camera so the Leica's bottom plate turn dial can be turned to load and unload film. However, I have not tried this yet since I had film in the camera already loaded when I mounted the plate. It doesn't add to the size of the camera significantly and I can still slide it into my Domke F-803 bag as it did before the plate was attached. You can set the camera on the table and sits flat as it should without toppling over. I leave the plate on the whole time since I do use a tripod often with my camera. Note: the plate is only for horizontal use only so you have to move your tripod head vertically for vertical shots. 5
