The 1000' (304.8 m) Camplex TAC1 Simplex LC Fiber Optic Tactical Cable 1000ftfrom Camplex TAC1 Simplex LC Fiber Optic Tactical Cable 1000ftmeets all outdoor tactical needs for broadcast applications requiring an outdoor rated crush and impact resistant design. The polyurethane core-locked design will be found where ordinary PVC jacket cables do not provide adequate protection in the field. The cable is machine polished and interferometer tested to industry standards.

A: The Tiltaing 15mm LWS Baseplate Type IV (Black) (B&H# TITABSP415B) has a non-removeable stop to prevent a dovetail plate from sliding forward and off the baseplate. That is the part with the Tilta logo on it. There is no dovetail plate yet designed to defeat that safety feature.

[9 µm] While I wasn't a fan of the cost at first, this is certainly a product where we are getting what we paid for. Cars and trucks of all sizes run over these cables all the time while we are trying to set things up, and after a year, the cables still look new- no signs of damage or even wear. They have sat outside for over a month at a time, in the rain and snow (minus the ends), and they just work great. 5

[9 µm] We use this to get audio/video to the front and back of large conference rooms, works great. The cable is only as thick as a single regular XLR cable. 5

[Polyurethane] I have a reel with just one channel on it, but found out it's cheaper to buy this cable and just remove the bracket from the LC side. Comes right out without cutting anything. 5
