A: Have the following professional installed by someone who does car tint windows for the best seamless install.

A: A 1" core is also used for this filter roll.

Q: 3. What is the thickness of this product and is it floppy or stiff??

A: This would be a floppy filter which has a thickness of 3 mil.

Q: 4. I asked abbout floppy/stiff in my last question, but the answer seems conflicting. If it's 3mm thick, is it really floppy? That's pretty thick for floppy.

A: This material is not 3mm it is probably 3 mil, which is much thinner than 3mm and is very pliable.

Q: 5. If you use window cleaner or clear sugary drink (as I've seen suggested here), how do you clean the gel after the shoot?

A: Truth be told you don't necessarily have to clean The Rosco E-Colour #211 .9 Neutral Density (48 x25' Roll) B&H # ROE211R48 MFR # 102302114825 after a shoot, but if you find that you do, what I suggest is to get the following 2 items. Q: 6. What's the difference between this time and B&H#LE204R1 ? Are they the same item?

A: LE204R1 is a 1" core. This one has a standard sized core.

Q: 7. Hello! I am trying to take my 3000 K landscape light to a more warmer light like a 2700-2,500 K, like a regular halogen color. What would the 1/8. 1/4 and 1/3 get my Kelvin to? I bought the 223 1/8 but that didn't do much. Thank you!!

A: Full CTO will move the color temp from 5,600k to 2800k. 3/4 will do 5,600k to 3,200k. Smaller levels will do proportionally less.

Q: 8. Frost means its matt finish on this one? So its not clear see through?

A: This filter would have a matte finish to it.

Q: 9. Could this be cut down and used in the filter stage of a darkroom enlarger to reduce exposure?

A: Yes, the Rosco E-Colour #211 ND .9 Filter (21 x 24" Sheet) could be cut into smaller pieces and used in other contexts, like a darkroom enlarger.

Q: 10. Will this alter the light in any way besides knock down exposure? ( Diffusion, Temperature, etc. )

A: I use the gel on 5600K LED lighting and have not seen any color temperature shift or diffusion.

[Roll] We shoot lots of interviews in hotel rooms. It's a shame to have a room with a beautiful view and not be able to use it because the light outside looks like "nuclear winter" and blown out. We ship a roll of this ahead of our team. They travel with a squeegee, knife, and bottle of window cleaner. Before the shoot they'll apply the gel to the inside of the windows and our shots look great. 5

[Roll] We were shooting a series for Lenovo. Knowing the director's penchant for always throwing a window in frame, I grabbed another roll of 211 so we would have plenty. And we did! We were able to expose (somewhat) for the outside so that it wasn't too blown out. Clients, producers and director were happy. That means I get to work another day. Remember, you are only as good as your last job. Make it a great one. 5
