The black NuQ102 2-Way 10" Full-Range Loudspeaker for Portable PA Applications from Turbosound is a switchable passive/bi-amp 1200W loudspeaker system ideally suited for a wide range of speech and music sound-reinforcement applications. The NuQ102 Loudspeaker is engineered to provide optimal performance for FOH, sidefill, and delay-line loudspeakers, and is an exceptional choice for wedge-monitoring applications.

The NuQ102 Loudspeaker features a 10" low-frequency driver with a low-mass voice coil for improved transient response, and an aluminum dome with 1" neodymium high-frequency compression driver mounted on a rotatable 100 x 60° (horizontal x vertical) dispersion-converging elliptical waveguide. All drivers are matched with an internal passive-crossover network in a reflex-loaded enclosure, and bi-amp mode can be enabled by means of a rear-panel switch. The rear-panel connector plate carries Neutrik speakON NL4 connectors for input and link connections to additional enclosures (sold separately).

Finished in a highly durable semi-matte black paint, the cabinet is constructed from 12mm birch plywood and is constructed with a rugged powder-coated perforated-steel mesh grille backed with reticulated foam. Multiple threaded rigging points are provided for suspension in any orientation, or for mounting with standard wall brackets. The NuQ102 Loudspeaker also features a 35mm socket for standard pole mounting, as well as integrated handles for convenient transport.

A: The Atlas Sound APT-34AT Omni-Purpose 30W Bidirectional Twin-Horn Loudspeaker is intended for use with a 25V, 70V, or 100V amplifier in a constant voltage system, not with a standard amplifier or stereo system. The speakers are designed for paging and announcements rather than for music. You would be better off with something like the Yamaha NS-AW294 Outdoor Speakers - Pair (B&H # YANSAW294BL) or Polk Audio Atrium4 All-Weather Indoor/Outdoor Speakers - Pair (B&H # POAM4085BLK) which will connect directly to your stereo receiver using standard speaker wire. They will sound much better for music and do a good job of projecting the sound.

Q: 3. Will I be able to connect recorder so that we can record?

A: Yes, the audio out is a line level output. We were able to pass audio to a secondary PA system to provide additional volume in a large outdoor space. Your recorder should be able to record from that output.

Q: 4. Can I play music through it as well as sing through the speaker with mic(s) Simultaneously..

A: Yes. you can, but know that the entire system is quiet. It is adequate for a indoor, small-room setting. We used it outdoor for a sidewalk fair and struggled to hear it over the chatter and traffic. I wish it was louder.

[33.1 lb] Purchased a pair of these with all custom bags. Replacing my 'standard' sound system of Mackie SWA 18"+ SRM 12" 2-way system. Absolutely loved using them and happy i upgraded. Operation: I clocked myself at 46 seconds to disassemble the entire column and put all components in the cases/bags including sub. I can carry the sub though its not very mobile friendly without dolly. Erects in similar amount of time and much easier on the eyes. Audio: Compared them with Bose, EV, RCF, and Fender. Out of the group the RCF was the best sounding overall. The Turbosounds sounded better than the rest but the dual 12" sub did outperform the single sub on the RCF 12, at least for me. Aesthetically it was nicer than the RCF but the EV evolve looked the nicest and was the easiest to transport. Would highly recommend. Happy to have joined the Turbosound family. 5

[8] From a small band perspective, these are loud and clear. I wish there was a bluetooth off switch though. The only way to mute bluetooth seems to be with the app. Once it is connected to a device using the app at least it doesn't seem to be able to connect to another device usuing the app. ie. someone hijacking your speakers. The bluetooth and speaker linking does work well. The audio is very clear, and they are pretty loud. For a sub $500 40lb cabinet made out of plastic it sounds good. Certainly good enough for small gigs. As far as the voicing options, live or monitor sounds best to me using an analog mixer with no other outboard gear. Overall I think this a great buy at this price point. You will want some kind of cover or bag though, they did away this the screen and went with control knobs which is fine, but I feel like they could be a little more vulnerable to me. 5

[8] I’m very happy to own these speakers. I’ve done several events with just the Bluetooth capabilities. Not only can you stream your music but also control all your audio sounds levels with app and to top it off, you can pair 2 speakers to run in stereo via Bluetooth. I have controlled my music, mics and speakers wirelessly from my iPhone/iPad. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments on sound and it never fails that someone will come up to me to ask what brand speakers I’m using. Turbosound is not a well known commercial brand but don’t let that fool you. These provide excellent bass and mid/high sound. My only con is the weight but the sound will make you forget about that. For all the features ,well built and durability , they are well worth the price , seriously. 5

[33.1 lb] I love, love, love this PA system. I'm a gigging drummer that wanted to have a small PA system that I could use for home rehearsals / my electronic kit while still being able to pack up easily and use for actual gigs. The Yamaha STAGEPAS 600BT Portable 10-Channel PA System with Bluetooth checks off ALL the boxes. It sounds INCREDIBLE, is super easy to transport, and has all the power you'll need for a small band w/ vox. It's so portable, you can really set up and play anywhere. I've also added a couple of Yamaha DBR10's to use as monitors, and it's perfect. Added wins: feedback suppression and the bluetooth onboard are both wildly helpful. Cannot recommend this system enough! 5

[9] This speaker rocks. It's really loud, made from very great materials and super easy to setup and use. Because it's plastic, it's not heavy, so great for gigging or DJ events. Once again, Mackie is awesome. For the price, $399 on sale, it's amazing. Two of these would make an awesome DJ setup as well. 5

[9] Great speakers for any occasion. I purchased the 12 version since the price was lower and specs are the same for the 15 set. Durable, multiple handles make them easy to carry, set-up and take down. The pole mount has a set-screw to ensure the speaker doesn't spin once mounted on the stand. 5

[33.1 lb] I have try all of them 450's, 350's etc ... Mackie have a winner here . Good size , excellent bass for 10 inch woofer the HF works very fine . In order to get a sound like the one you get from here you will need to doend s few more hundred in other brand . 5
