[23 x 15.8 x 13"] From a small band perspective, these are loud and clear. I wish there was a bluetooth off switch though. The only way to mute bluetooth seems to be with the app. Once it is connected to a device using the app at least it doesn't seem to be able to connect to another device usuing the app. ie. someone hijacking your speakers. The bluetooth and speaker linking does work well. The audio is very clear, and they are pretty loud. For a sub $500 40lb cabinet made out of plastic it sounds good. Certainly good enough for small gigs. As far as the voicing options, live or monitor sounds best to me using an analog mixer with no other outboard gear. Overall I think this a great buy at this price point. You will want some kind of cover or bag though, they did away this the screen and went with control knobs which is fine, but I feel like they could be a little more vulnerable to me.

[32.5 lb] I had experience with using the 12 and 15 inch version of these speakers earlier this year with a band I was playing in, and when the need arose for my jazz duo to play an outdoor concert, I got a pair of these. I auditioned them at home for a week, and found the sound to be expansive, clear, and full-range. I used them for the first time this past weekend at an outdoor fund-raiser concert, and they performed magnificently. For once, vocals and my partner's trumpet were clear and cut through the mix. I ported my piano and my backing tracks thru it as well, and everything sounded balanced and clean. This allowed us to use my amp/powered speaker as a monitor, so we had the best of both worlds here. I cannot recommend these speakers enough. They are extremely lightweight given their quality, which is a must for me, and while they were not cheap, they are a great value, costing less than comparable speakers of other, famous brands. The other speakers I considered were heavier and just as expensive, and I doubt they would have sounded any better. And I am considering getting a third one of these to use as a floor wedge monitor for larger venues and larger bands. I'm happy with these and if you need a larger-sized speaker, the 12 and 15 inch variety are also a best bet.

[32.5 lb] I purchased a second BR-10 to complete a PA system I use with a Fender guitar/Yamaha modeling amp combo. I get the sound I like and then let it rip. Clean, powerful and impressively responsive across the entire frequency range. Way more than enough for 1500 sq ft of audience (~200 people). Can switch to pure PA use without problems and nobody is going to gripe about this rig. Wish I had this setup when I started doing gigs.

[23 x 15.8 x 13"] Bought this to compliment my Yamaha DGX-650 keyboard, and it works exactly as designed. Plugged it in to my keyboard headphone jack and adjusted the volume - viola ! I will someday upgrade to a larger unit when performing, but for now this meets my needs perfectly for practice - not too large, not too small, just enough power to fill a large room with legendary Yamaha sound. I may even add another one just because.... A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. This unit rocks !

[8] This speaker rocks. It's really loud, made from very great materials and super easy to setup and use. Because it's plastic, it's not heavy, so great for gigging or DJ events. Once again, Mackie is awesome. For the price, $399 on sale, it's amazing. Two of these would make an awesome DJ setup as well.

[32.5 lb] I have try all of them 450's, 350's etc ... Mackie have a winner here . Good size , excellent bass for 10 inch woofer the HF works very fine . In order to get a sound like the one you get from here you will need to doend s few more hundred in other brand .

[23 x 15.8 x 13"] I've been working in live professional audio for over 20 years. I can say hands down these units are the best (small/medium) PA. I work at a university and we own 2 of the 3000 and one of the 1000 units. These have served 90% of all our needs. Just last weekend I ran the pair of 3000 for about 350 in a ballroom for our new student orientation and ran them hard ( Hard House, EDM and Hip Hop. They have built in limiters that help protect the drivers, but I did not even have to run them to limit. The coverage / intelligibility were fantastic for spoken word. Great units for the price and I only need to take one trip in the van to move the whole PA.

Low end is lacking for our application, I would have prefered our pair of dual 18" subs, but the pair of 12" subs per side worked OK.
