Q: 1. When using this adapter, will my Fuji xt1 work using aperture priority mode, and will the camera show which aperture is currently being used on screen? I just want to know what features I'll be losing, outside of auto focus

A: The X-T1 will work in manual and aperture mode. If you are using a Nikon G series lens (which has no manual aperture ring) you use the adapter's aperture ring. Unfortunately, there are no f-stop numbers so you have to guess at the aperture you actually have. The camera does not show your selected aperture but will expose properly. If you are using an older Nikon which has the aperture ring you will have a better idea of the f-stop you are using. This adapter works quite well even though I had to remove the Arca-Swiss type tripod adapter on the bottom, it simply didn't fit my tripod head. Hope this answers your question.

A: yes, it does

A: If they have a standard Nikon bayonet mount then they should work. I had no problem at all with any of my Nikon lenses. If you are using it with the Fuji X-T1 don't forget to go to settings (bottom of the third page)to deactivate the Auto exposure mode (it's in the manual, I forget the page) otherwise the camera will NOT allow you to take the shot.

Q: 4. I have read the two reviews of this item. It appears they the threading is of a very close tolerance. As far as I'm concerned that is a good attribute. My question concerns the locking mechanism itself; i.e., part A tolerance to part B. If you have already bought this and have had it in service for some while, I'm asking if the joint is solid and without any free play of tolerance. Yes, I have an Atlas MS20C. It would be much nicer to have a quick connect between the shaft and base because as we all know, it is typical to separate the two pieces during transport. Also, I'm know from experience that hasty and often assembly / disassembly of the base from the shaft invites the risk of stripping threads. On paper, this device looks very useful and I would definitely buy it if I only knew that it has a very solid fit between the halves with no wobble at all. Thank you very much.

A: Atlas as you well know makes excellent products. I cannot guarantee the QR-2 will not have some play to it. As the connection is not a thread its ball bearing.

Q: 5. Will this work on Nikon 85mm 1.8D Lens?

A: Yes, this should work. I'veused it with manual focus, autofocus screwdrive lenses and G lenses and they all work. You do need to make sure the aperture control on the adapter and your lens are in synch on non-G lenses.Don

Q: 6. Will the Nikon in-lens stabilization still work?

A: The Nikon stabilization lens system does not work with the Metabones adapter. Everything regarding the lens is manual once attached to the adapter

A: No it does not. That is an in-line attenuator. These are both phantom power supplies that can run off of a battery or a wall adapter. MAM48 for a single channel and ARADPP for a dual channel.

A: Yes it does , It's a manual lens adapter (manual focus and aperture)
