The AtlasIED TSD-DCPDV DC Power Distributionis designed to distribute power to TSD devices or other equipment requiring DC power without the need for

separate power supplies. The TSD-DCPDV can help remove rack clutter

and free up power strip space. It can also be used with wireless

microphones that typically require 12-18 VDC PSUs.

Its rear panel includes one 9-24V input for a user selectable power supply

up to 2500mA, four fixed 24V outputs, and two 5-24V variable outputs.

Voltage for variable outputs is adjusted from a secure trim pot. In

addition, two front panel USB ports are available for charging other

devices or for USB style rack lighting. The TSD-DCPDV requires a power supply (available separately) for operation.

    Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this also work with the Strobies 360 Flash Unit? The Bolt and Strobies units appear to be identical.

A: I have one Genesis 400 (Calumet brand), a Godox AD360ll, and Flashpoint Streaklight 360ll- and all are the same ports, same plugs and the doubler cables are interchangeable with all 3.

Q: 2. Will this work with my Zoom 3030 and my Zoom GFX-707 effects pedals?

A: Yes, the Planet Waves PW-CT-9V Regulated AC-DC 9V Power Adapter is compatible for use with the Zoom Player 3030 Multi-effects Processor and the Zoom GFX-707 Guitar Effects Processor Pedals. The PW-CT-9V has the same power rating as the Zoom AD-16 9V Power Supply Adapter For Zoom Effects Pedals (B&H # ZOAD16D) which is designed specifically for use with Zoom effects pedals, including the 3030 and GFX-707. Both power supplies are rated at 9V, 500mA.

Q: 3. Does Blackmagic make a 12G version of this?

A: There is the Blackmagic Design Teranex Mini SDI 12G Distribution. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1186267-REG/blackmagic_design_convntrm_ea_da_teranex_mini_quad_sdi.html

Q: 4. Can this distribute to 3 differant resolutions or 3 differant tvs from one signal out of an imac?

A: This converter takes one SDI signal and outputs 8 identical SDI signals. All the same resolution and frame rate as the input.

Q: 5. Can this version be used with smallhd indie 7 to control the camera?

A: Yes, the Tilta TA-T08-AMV2-B is compatible with the RED Control Protocol coming from a connected SmallHD monitor. Be sure to have the RCP2 license on the monitor.

Q: 6. I have a PSC NP-1 Battery Cup with a 4-pin Hirose Connector that I use to power my SD 633 and F8n Mixer. I was told that battery cup was specifically designed to work with the PSC Power Star Mini Distribution System. Would it be able to work with the RA BDSv4U as well? Or would I need to buy a battery cup with specifically from Remote Audio? Not sure if the two products had to be uniformly from the same company?

A: The connecton is TA4 on the Remote Audio gear. so your PSC NP-1 cup with a 4-pin Hirose connector will not be compatible. The Remote Audio 24" BDS Input Cable with NP-1 Battery Cup to TA4F, BH #REBDSNPADW is he appropriate cup for this item.

Q: 7. Can anyone confirm if the Control port on this version is functional? I've seen reports that early models had issues with that.

A: Tilta confirms that the control port works on the Tilta Advanced Power Distribution Module for RED KOMODO . The Module features the following ports: (1) 14.8V P-Tap Port (2) 14.8V 2-Pin LEMO Port (1) 3 Pin Fischer R/S Port (1) Timecode Port (1) Red CTRL Port (1) Genlock Port (1) 5V USB Port

Q: 8. I have a wireless receiver that needs DC7V to operate (Sony WRR 855). Can I use Battery bud to power it?

A: The Battery Bud is only a distributor of a power source connected to it. The WRR-855 by itself has a specific din connection, meant for dropping into a camcorder receiver slot. To attempt use of the WRR-855 as a standalone receiver, you'd first need the Sony BTA-801. This will provide a 12V 4 pin connection and a separate audio out. Next, you would need a properly wired audio cable to send power to the correct pins from the Bud to the BTA-801. Then, you would need a 12V lithium battery with battery cup to attach to the Bud.

Q: 9. Does this unit work with the G4 series transmitters as well?

A: I verified with the manufacture and yes it does work with the Sennheiser G4 transmitter series

Q: 10. Where on the unit is the 4 pin xlr input?

A: It's on the opposite side at the top. It can function as an input or output as well, according to the unit.

[6 oz (165 g)] Used it to drive (4) four Atlas M1000 8" Sound Masking speakers. At half volume it was extremely loud. Simple volume control and White / Pink noise selector plus a little bit of EQ. More than most people need.

[6 oz (165 g)] Small footprint BDS that works well, only downside is that there is no switch/unswitched port...so it is either ALL ON or ALL OFF

[6 oz (165 g)] After researching a few different options for a combiner to help with some static / interference we were getting with our Sennheiser In-Ear Monitors - I decided to go with this unit.
Since installing in our rack; we have had absolutely no static, no interference - it solved all of our issues!
The ability for this unit to also power our units using the power over BNC connection is also a very nice surprise; taking up fewer valuable outlets in my power distribution.
I'm quite pleased with this unit and very happy that I bought it.

[6 oz (165 g)] This is a great little power distro box. I use it with a Nomad 6 mixer, and a Lectro Quadbox. I power it with an Anton/Bauer Dionic 90 battery. It has a clip that hooks to your mixer bag. It does what it's supposed to! The on/off button connects to all of the outputs-no pass-through.
