The Atlas Sound TSD-MIX31RL 3x1 Mic/Line Mixer includes two mic/balanced line inputs via removable Phoenix style connectors and a stereo summing dual RCA input. Switchable phantom power is provided for both mic inputs to facilitate condenser microphones. The low noise internal mic preamps ensure clarity and quiet operation without unwanted coloration. A 12dB/octave high pass filter at 125Hz also is available on each input to minimize bass rumble and low frequency feedback.

Priority paging can be accomplished via contact closure or VOX trigger on Input 1 (mutes input 3 only). Remote level control feature allows use of an optional decorative wall plate control for remote adjustment of either the entire mix bus or input 3 only (typical BGM input).

A variable output limiter provides system protection by reducing clipping and distortion. The TSD-MIX31RL requires a power supply (not included) for operation.

A: This cable features circuitry on both audio channels to match the sweet spot level of your camera's mic input. It attenuates the incoming microphone signal. The -25dB provided at the mic input is not sufficient to convert a LINE output signal to the mic signal required by your camera.

Q: 9. I have read the two reviews of this item. It appears they the threading is of a very close tolerance. As far as I'm concerned that is a good attribute. My question concerns the locking mechanism itself; i.e., part A tolerance to part B. If you have already bought this and have had it in service for some while, I'm asking if the joint is solid and without any free play of tolerance. Yes, I have an Atlas MS20C. It would be much nicer to have a quick connect between the shaft and base because as we all know, it is typical to separate the two pieces during transport. Also, I'm know from experience that hasty and often assembly / disassembly of the base from the shaft invites the risk of stripping threads. On paper, this device looks very useful and I would definitely buy it if I only knew that it has a very solid fit between the halves with no wobble at all. Thank you very much.

A: Atlas as you well know makes excellent products. I cannot guarantee the QR-2 will not have some play to it. As the connection is not a thread its ball bearing.
