The AtlasIED TSD-TXHL High Low Level Converteris a high to low level converter designed to

interface with 4Ω/25/70/100V distributed speaker lines. An unbalanced

line level output is provided to drive remote amplifiers or other devices.

The TSD-TXHL allows for expansion of zones without the need for

dedicated wiring to remote locations. The high to low-level converter

features an isolated transformer, which will not add measurable load to

the speaker line. An output level control allows for trim adjustment to

best match the remote amplifier (or other device) input sensitivity. The

TSD-TXHL will work in conjunction with Atlas Sound's CP and PA

series.

    Related Questions and Answers

    Q: 1. Does it have a dust/spec removal feature?

A: The machine itself does allow for basic changes such as colour and contrast. The reason I highly recommend this product is its ability to quickly digitise and its screen size. I correct later through photoshop.

Q: 2. Will the wolverine Data F2D Titan Digital converter scan 120 or 220 medium format film?

    A: No.

Q: 3. can you recommend a longer cable to work with this adapter?

A: For a longer cable run, you may use a standard XLR cable. You may consider B&H # KOM4025 for a 25' extension.

Q: 4. Is there a way to add phantom power device to use my audio Technica shotgun mic that I used to use with a DAT recorder that had phantom power, but now all my cables do not work with 1/8in cameras or devices. Thanks for any advice?

A: A device such as the Denecke PS-1A Portable Single Channel 48V Phantom Power Supply (BH #DEPS1A) could be used in between a phantom-powered shotgun microphone and the Kopul LMT100 Low to High Impedance Matching Transformer for proper connection to 3.5mm camera inputs: https://bhpho.to/3rPrNa4

Q: 5. Will a whole chain become unbalanced if I use this transformer in the end of line? For instants, Shotgun mic 25' of xlr balanced cable this Kopul transformer regular 3.5 mini Jack input in DLSR. Or unbalanced will be only this short adapter cable in the end?

A: The terminal signal becomes unbalanced when using this Kopul adapter.

Q: 6. I have a shotgun mic without phantom power so how can I use these cables?

A: A shotgun microphone that powers itself/does not require phantom power is a great candidate for connection of the microphone to a 3.5mm input such as those found on DSLR cameras using the Kopul LMT100 Low to High Impedance Matching Transformer.

Q: 7. If a device supports sending phantom power out of its 3.5mm mic input, will this adapter/transformer pass the phantom power up the XLR cable to the mic?

A: We could not guarantee that 48v phantom power would pass properly through this type of adapter if being used with a balanced 3.5mm jack with phantom power output.

Q: 8. Will the Wolverine F2D Titan converter's slide holder take glass or plastic mounted 35mm slides? (Glass and plastic mounts are generally slightly thicker than paper mounts.)

A: Paper or Plastic mounted slides would fit, glass slides would be too thick.

Q: 9. can you recommend a longer cable to work with this adapter?

A: Since this is an impedance matching transformer, it would be recommended to use an XLR cable of the length of your choice to connect to the XLR female side in order to extend.

Q: 10. For 35mm loading, does this device have something that flattens the film before/as it scans? My film strips not only curl at the end which is no biggy but they bow like a tunnel all the way down which is my current issue and wondering if this machine will flatten before scanning so it is all in focus. Thank you in advance.

A: I believe you are talking about 35mm negatives, right? Assuming this is true, the negative holder that the negative strip is put into before putting it into the machine is kind if like a coin slide with a big window in the middle. The strip is contained by the sides of and positioned by the holder but the window allows the light to shoot thru the negative and digitize the photo. The holder does keep the negative somewhat flat but somehow I don't know how your negatives ever got curled up or bowed in the first place. That's beside the point, though. This negative holder will help but it does not clamp the negative down to make it flat. The negative strip, when it is in the holder, must have some looseness to allow you to slide the negative through the holder once it is in the machine in order to digitize more than one photo from that negative strip. So yes, it helps flatten it but any severe bowing or cupping will not be corrected by the holder. You would need to find a way to gently, over time, flatten the negative strips that are badly bowed/cupped. I'd use pressure by putting each one in the middle of separate pages of a real heavy book for a while and pile weight on top of it. Hope this helps.

[0.64 lb] Used it to drive (4) four Atlas M1000 8" Sound Masking speakers. At half volume it was extremely loud. Simple volume control and White / Pink noise selector plus a little bit of EQ. More than most people need.

[0.64 lb] Anybody professional audio engineer who has EVER tried to mic the inside of a kick drum will tell you how frustrating it can be with cheap mic stands. Most either don't have the weight, or don't have the reach, or both.

This has both and is a pure joy to work with.
The thing most reviews don't tell you is that all 3 legs are solid cold rolled steel. This makes for a mic stand that won't easily tip over, even when bumped or kicked because it has the weight to stay put.

The other Godsend is the design of the boom arm. It allows you to thread the Mic on and then extend it to the perfect spot inside the kick drum and then make micro adjustments with second boom screw. Much more precise than having to reach inside and try to re-adjust with a less than perfect set screw ( I'm talking to you Beta 52 ), especially if your kick only has a small sound port in the resonant head and you cant, or don't want to take the head off completely.

This is a well thought out product and more than worth the few extra bucks over the cheap ones. It's a quality stand top to bottom. Very highly recommended.

[0.64 lb] I got this for mic'ing up my kick and I'm very pleased with it...nice and sturdy, flexible, excellent build quality, able to easily hold a heavy mic in a low, 4:00 o'clock port hole spot...what more could you want? It may not be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for!

[Aluminum] The K&M 25950 is a terrific mic stand for floor-standing [guitar] amps or for a kick-drum. I also have a K&M 25900 which is slightly taller... I think the 25900 is more suitable for micing a snare or other mid-height use-case, so when I needed another low-mic the 25950 was definitely my go-to

[6 oz (165 g)] Everytime I use this stand to mic up a kick or guitar amp, a big smile comes over my face. The quality of the knobs and the weight of the build means that once set, it NEVER moves. I wish I had three more. Great value.

[6 oz (165 g)] Super heavy-duty! This thing's relly well made and goes low enough to put a mic in my 20" bass drum. You won't need to buy another stand... unless you have two bass drums.

[6 oz (165 g)] This is NOT... I repeat, NOT your average mic stand. Everything about it screams quality and durability. Solid in every way... from the legs to the knobs and the boom itself. I've found my new exclusive brand for mic stands. Yes, K&M are a bit more pricey. No worries, you will not be buying a bunch of replacements over the years. If you're serious about your craft, make the leap to K&M.
